Day 32

Rey woke up early the next morning. Thankfully Ben was still sleeping soundly in his bed. She got a small piece of paper and a pen and decided to write a note.

Tears started to come out of her eyes as she finished up the letter. Tear drops spilled onto the paper smearing her writing. With a heavy heart she placed the note right besides Ben where he could see it.

She grabbed her bag and headed out the door, closing it behind her.

"Poe? Finn?"

Rey made her way into the quiet apartment. Soon she heard voices.

"Rey?!"

Finn and Poe ran out and hugged her.

"We were so worried! Ben was worried! We were all worried! Wait...what are you doing back so soon?"

"I broke up with Kyle..."

"Good for you Rey! You're finally back!"

"Uh guys?"

"Yeah."

"I'm only staying here for a week or two. It's Unkar, he's gotten worse and I need to get out of here."

"Oh Rey!"

They threw their arms around her again.

"I know he won't find me here so I'm staying for a little to get as much time as I can with you guys...'

"Don't worry Rey! We will make these last weeks worth it!"

Rey smiled then made her way back to her room.

"Poe?"

"Yeah?"

"This has gotten out of hand. Unkar needs a restraining order or something! He will find her out there, this guy is bad."

"Agreed we could talk to Ben later about it, we can't tell Rey though, she already has her heart set on leaving."

"She seems like she wants to leave badly. Is it cause of someone? She's too smart to just leave town cause of Unkar."

"I know, we will ask her later. Right now she needs rest."
