After colliding heads with Ye Fang, Klaus whined in pain. Ye Fang quickly opened her eyes and looked around. She knew that if there was a possible attack, the soul pet would react and wake her up. So she noticed Klaus as he stared, unable to understand what was happening.
He was holding his head. But strangely there was a smile on his face. The pain caused Klaus to recover, which he found quite funny. A memory from his previous life had appeared in his mind.
Maria stayed with them for one night. They were both eight or nine years old at the time. They were playing together a game he couldn't remember. Maria had inadvertently bumped her head against Klaus when she was going to get angry at him for losing.
He clearly remembered that he had been offended by Maria for a week after that day.
Although he can't remember how Maria got his heart, it was a very interesting memory.
When he remembered Maria, sadness appeared on his face. Particles had gathered in his eyes. In these five years, he felt his emotions much more intensely, even if he did not know whether it was due to the influence of his childhood. This caused him to draw a profile like someone who cried for no reason at any moment.
Ye Fang, of course, knew this. But she saw it as her fault. She didn't know what to do. She hurriedly spoke:
"Young master, I'm sorry. It's the maid's fault. Please don't worry."
She remembered what Ming Yan had said before. When the young master cried, there were two ways to silence him. Either they should have waited for it to shut up, which would be the most common result. The other way caused Ye Fang to blush.
But just as she was about to say what was on her mind, Klaus suddenly stopped crying. He looked at Ye Fang with a bright look as he snorted slightly.
"Do you see that?"
He pointed his finger at the air. Ye Fang was confused and looked at the place he was pointing to.
"I can't see anything, young master."
This time it was Klaus who was surprised. In his view, there was now a cyan-colored panel of writing. The writing was golden, and it was written in a font that he was quite familiar with. The panel was "Login".
Klaus rubbed his eyes slightly. He looked at Ye Fang several times. Then he looked at the panel again.
"Are you sure you don't see Fang?"
But Ye Fang shook her head. A panic appeared on her face. Did his hitting her head have a bad effect on the young master?
"Young master, do you have a place hurt?"
He nodded negatively to the worried Ye Fang.
"I'm fine."
Although Ye Fang seemed to be a little relieved, her anxiety had not passed. Klaus ignored her for the time being.
He was trying to figure out what this writing in front of him was. A normal person might think they were hallucinating. But he didn't think about it. After all, to him, all of the five years he lived were like a kind of dream. He had heard many things that were hard to believe.
So he tried to figure out what it was. The first thing that came to his mind was the game he naturally entered before he had a headache. But that was very illogical. Yet he had learned that some things should not be judged by common sense.
So he hasn't done anything to the panel for now. Instead, he tried to see if he could drift, and he succeeded. Between his fingers, the panel could go wherever he wanted. He could zoom in if he wanted, or zoom out if he didn't want to.
After learning of this discovery, he dragged his vision to a place that wouldn't affect him much. Now was not a good time to try it out.
Ye Fang, worriedly at the time, put her hand on Klaus' forehead. But she was relieved that she could not feel a warmth. Still, she couldn't make sense of Klaus' strange moves. This made her feel even more worried and guilty.
Klaus pulled Ye Fang's hand and smiled.
"I don't have anything, relax. But let this incident stay between the two of us, okay? I didn't say anything."
Having said that, he stood up without bothering to wait for an answer. Then he said:
"Let's go back. I want to get some rest in my room."
Ye Fang quickly shook her head in agreement. After Klaus received the affirmative answer, he let her take her away. Even if he could go to his room on his own, it would be a problem for Ye Fang.
So Ye Fang took him away. Then he fired her, signaling his departure with his hands.
The reason why he returned so quickly was obvious. He was excited. This thing, if it was something he predicted, could change his life and maybe even go back to his old life!
He knew he had a lot of hope. It could even be the hallucination of a plant-type soul pet that would not meet this hope. But the longing he felt for those loved ones in his heart was so intense that he could trust even the slightest thing.
He sat on his bed as he brought the panel with the sign "Log in" right in front of him. Then he touched the button with his finger.
On top of that, the panel with the cyan began to glow. He involuntarily closed his eyes as the white lights filled his eyes.
When the lights went out and Klaus opened his eyes, a new panel appeared in front of him. On this panel, it was written in a strange golden font:
[Play]
[Shop]
[Profile]
[Info]
It was a simple menu with four separate options. Klaus moved his hand to his soft chin and thought carefully. Then he first tapped on the menu that said "Info". This time the light did not appear. Instead, a really long series of articles appeared.
This article, which consisted of a lot of paragraphs, had more than one subheading. Klaus felt his head hurt as he looked at them. So he looked to see if there was a search location around the tab. Luckily there was a magnifying glass in the corner of the cyan panel. When he touched it directly, a writing place and a small keyboard appeared.
Klaus immediately wrote, "How can I return home?" But there was no result. Instead, he decided to write in several different varieties. But again there was no result. Finally, he searched, for "Another world."
Klaus nervously waited for a conclusion. He didn't know what to do with this thing if that didn't come out.
Fortunately, after a short wait, a result came out and the writings shifted extremely quickly. Shifted to the subheading where the direct result was. When he saw this title, Klaus frowned.
"Ranked..."
His title muttered. Then he began to read quietly. It took him fifteen minutes to read the writings completely. Although he wanted to read the sequel, he had to leave it when the article was cut after a while.
After finishing reading, he excitedly closed the article and began to breathe deeply to calm down. But his mind was still in chaos.
The reason for this was that he finally found hope. There was a way to end five years of longing!
Ranked was something that was seen in every MOBA, even multiplayer, in most PvP games. Although raising the Rank usually had many awards such as costume and color, it would not have a concrete award.
But here it was different!
Each degree had its advantages and could get what it wanted in exchange for a certain League Point from the so-called "Shop". And that included going to the world he wanted!
Klaus' eyes shone like a pair of jewels. Hope, excitement, and happiness were enveloping his body. He finally found that hope that he could go to his own planet, where he belonged. He could return to his family and friends! Moreover, there was an opportunity to return here whenever he wanted.
Nothing could be more wonderful than Klaus. He immediately wanted to play ranked. But there was a problem. When he read the writings carefully, there was a requirement for the Ranked to be over ten years old.
He frowned slightly. The age of the soul was twenty-three. He thought it should be enough. So he tapped the arrow key to get back out of the information section and went back to the menu. From the menu, he tapped on "Play".
The new options arose in front of him. Of these three options, two "Normal (Blind/Draft)" and "Against AI" glowed in gold, while the "Ranked" lettering on top of both was dimmed.
When he saw this, he couldn't help but say.
"Do I seriously have to wait for my body age to exceed ten? Is that a joke?"
When he saw that he had to wait another five years, he couldn't help but be furious. If he was going to wait five years, why did this damn thing appear now?
When he was angry, he got angry and punched the bed like a child. After doing this several times, he tried to relax. He reminded himself that he had to give his focus for now.
"Hmhm..."
After examining it for a bit, he looked at the other two options that glowed in gold, and his eyes lit up.
"Opening early is perhaps a blessing given to me?"
There were three requirements to be able to enter the Ranked matches. These were: playing in two hundred Drift or Blind normal matches, playing against a hundred artificial intelligence, and being over the age of ten.
Klaus knew that this game was not simple. So he felt that if his prediction was correct, he had a great advantage. If he played more games early, he could gain more experience. As a result, the chances of rising to more advanced grades would increase!
With his eyes shining, he knew what to do.
Another four years have passed since then.
