“CHECK THE TERRITORY NOW! FIND THE QUEEN!” I shouted, and Ivan rushed outside to give orders. I slumped my back into my chair, and I facepalmed. 


“What happened?” Vincent asked anxiously. 


“Clara mind-linked me, telling me there were rogues,” I said tremblingly. 


“Calm down,” Vincent said, but I couldn’t. I stood and rushed to our house and searched for Clara. When I couldn’t find her, I rushed back to the pack house and looked for her. I still couldn’t find it, so I shifted and ran outside. I thought about the lake and immediately ran there. 


I smell some traces of her. “In the lake!” I mind-linked everyone in the pack link. I followed her scent, but her scent immediately vanished.
