It’s time. I’m standing on stage waiting for my mate. Mother texted me and said that Rae wants to mark each other on stage, in front of everyone, it blew my mind. That was unexpected. I bet it has something to do with Serenity. Of course, my wolf Cian loves the idea. I just didn’t think that Rae would actually do it. 


I scan the people still taking their seats. A lot of males are here. People from other packs are here. I nod to Ryan, Mason, and Alrich. They are in a circle for Alphas. They each hold their glasses up to me. I look and find my sister with Alrich’s mate, Mason’s standing off to the side. I sigh. I guess she isn’t feeling very welcome in our world yet. I’m sure Rae will remedy that. 


“How are you feeling, son?” Father asks. 


“I’m nervous and excited at the same time.” I answer.
