Shit, I'm trouble

I can't tell how long the kings fought until I couldn't hear the sounds of the guards any more.

“Put me down. I can walk, you know?” I tried to get demon king to put me down, but he didn't budge.

“Keep your eyes closed. You shouldn't see this.” He said in a gruff voice.

“You—”

“Why are you treating him like a princess?” The dragon king mocked. “If I didn't know better, I would have thought he's your—”

“Shut up!” The demon king growled at him. “If you have nothing better to say, go and have a nap.”

“A nap? I've been taking one since we were caught.” The dragon countered. “Though I think I need more.”

Listening to their banter, I hid a smile. It sounded exactly like whenever Moon and Fyre argue.

Most times, they sound like kids and not the kings they were supposed to be.

After a long walk, the demon king patted my arse. “We are out of the enemies' territory, should I bring you down?”

“Of course.”
