Doom or Salvation

The passing of Faith had a devastating effect on the Johnson-Thompson family. Faith was the glue of the family and her absence broke the unity of the family. 


During and after Faith's funeral, things got really bad between her parents. Faith's dad still felt betrayed that Sandra went back to Jamie for financial support when Faith was sick and Sandra could not comprehend why her husband was not as desperate to save Faith. She expected him to be willing to sacrifice his pride for their daughter. 


Sandra spent her days and nights in Faith's room. Faith's beloved faux fur comforter was almost constantly wet with Sandra's tears. She not only wanted to be away from her husband but she wanted to be among Faith's belongings. It was the closest she could get to her beloved daughter.
