Prologue: The source of my misery

This was the worst thing that could have happened.

I was given a wonderful taste of how beautiful life could be only for it to be taken away from me again.

To begin with, it wasn't my fault. I didn't do anything wrong. Yet I had to be a nonexistent person in the redemption story of another.

I'm the side character nobody is going to save.

There’s someone, someone who sings by the river in the forest.

The type of singing that calms you down, lures you in and makes you fall

I haven’t seen the person, I never got the chance to but whoever it is, seems like she’s in a lot of pain.

In the darkness of the forest, where everything seems calm and peaceful. Where everything finds its tranquility and harmony, there seems to be a conflict.

Her singing is beautiful but so full of sorrow.

I don’t know why but at times the heart aches when I listen to her.
