Why did you bring me here?

The man took Kon to his house. He parked the car, and went over to Kon's side, to open the door.

“Why did you bring me here?” Kon glanced around the place.

The house the man brought him to was in the rich part of the city.

Kon has never been to the place, though he has heard so much about the rich side of the city.

“You said you needed a place to hide. My house is the safe bet. No one will follow us here.” He grinned as he opened the door for Kon.

Kon reluctantly stepped out of the car. He glanced around the private property before he turned to face the man.

“Take me back home. I don't want to spend the night in a strange place.” Kon shook his head. “I know you want to help me, but I don't think I can be comfortable here.” He glanced around as if he were expecting someone to sneak out from the shadows.

“Come on. I won't bite. Just treat it as if you rented a room in a hotel.” He closed the door behind Kon. “Come on.”
