Adrien x Kitten! Reader

You pranced the sidewalk happily. Your owner was taking you for a joyride (or walk). You were the happiest kitten around.

Suddenly you felt your collar shift. Looking back you saw your owner had unhooked your leash with an angered expression on their face. "Go! I brought you far enough to get out of my sight!"

Scared, shaking, you ran away from him/her. Your heart ached so badly. If cats could cry, you would be crying a storm by now.

You looked back to see your ex-owner walking away while talking on his/her phone. You didn't understand why he/she was doing this. They always yelled at you because you weren't trained like the dog, but you thought that was normal. Your head was hung low in sadness. People walked by you as you stopped near an alleyway.

The cries of street cats filled your ears. you thought. Footsteps passed by many people as you sat there.

Night fell and you were miserable. It was a little chilly out and the street cats scratched at you until you left your post. You found yourself getting tired while walking by a large building.

It looked like a school. You pranced your way to the steps where it was covered and curled up to stay warm. Nobody was out so there weren't any interruptions as you slowly fell asleep.

Morning rolled around. You stretched and peered over the school's steps. Kids were chattering.

Your ears perked up when one looked at you. She snickered and waved her blonde hair around and said something to her red haired friend. Then a long, black vehicle drove up, revealing a blonde headed boy.

He walked towards the steps, eyeing the blonde headed girl carefully. He came right by you and you heard him say, "Thank goodness. That's another dodge by Chloe." You cried out to him seeing how worried he was.

You always had a soft spot for people who looked sad. This kid needed comfort and you knew that. His eyes peered down to your (Choose your color) form.

His frown turned upside down immediately. He awed at you and picked you up. "What is a kitten like you doing here? Certainly not to learn."

A very loud bell rang. It scared you so badly you leapt out of the boy's arms and took off running. You heard him yelling aft you for a moment before you could no longer hear his voice.

You took shelter under the shade of a bakery. It smelt so good. You decided to sleep to take your mind off the delicious treats inside.

When the afternoon came you woke up and walked away from the bakery. You were walking when frantic steps approached you. "There you are!"

You turned to see the blonde boy from earlier looking down at you with a smile. you thought happily. He started to pick you up again until a voice stopped him.

"Oh thank goodness! You found my kitten!"

You turned around to see your ex-owner. Pain hit your entire body emotionally as you started pawing at the boy. You were hinting that you wanted to be with him and not them.

The blonde boy looked at you puzzled. "I'm sorry. I didn't know she was your kitten." You were mentally screaming, your cries coming out as meows.

The boy started to hand you to him/her when you started hissing. He knew then that something was wrong. He pulled you back to himself.

"Give me my cat, boy.", he/she said. You looked at the kid and started shaking your head. He sighed and realized he wasn't getting out of this easily.

"What if I paid you for her?"

You looked at the other person. Money signs replaced his/her eyes. you realized.

They didn't want you back. He/She would just throw you back out after getting the money. They just wanted to see how much they could get for a measly kitten.

"Hmm, alright. I guess a good fifty bucks would do.", they answered. The boy's eyes widened but he looked at you. He suddenly knew what he/she was doing.

He miraculously pulled out the money and handed it to them. He walked away with you in his arms as you stared at him with questions whirling in your head.

Every owner you've ever had was awful to you. They treated you with no respect. To see this kid actuslly wanting you...it felt good.

He took you to his home which was a huge building. You contemplated whether it was even a house. He passed a gate and entered through the door.

There was a stern looking man with grey hair standing at the steps inskde. "Adrien you're late. And you brought a filthy cat.", he spat. Your ears lowered in sadness.

The kid, you now knew as Adrien, protested against the man. "I had to study. And she's not a filthy cat. She's a kitten that I'm going to keep." And with that, Adrien ran past his father with you in his arms.

When he reached his room he slammed the door behind him. He let you go and you walked around the room. You looked back at Adrien, seeing a black creature fly out of his pocket.

You ran at it and payed at it while jumping to reach it. "Awe, Plagg. I think she likes you." Adrien chuckled while watching you chase the creature.

You suddenly stopped when you heard Adrien ask himself, "What would be at good name for you?" The flying creature huffed and fell to the floor once you turned around. You went over to Adrien, wanting a real name.

He looked at you as you meowed. He smiled. "How about (Y/n)?", he suggested.

You nuzzled against his legs as he pet you. "(Y/n) it is." He scratched behind your ears, making you purr.

Night fell and Adrien got ready for bed. He patted the spot next to him, allowing you to sleep on his bed. You leapt up and cuddled next to him.

"I love you, (Y/n)"
