Adrien x Reader (Song Request) pt.3

(A/n)- So this ends kinda darkly. And it's pretty sad all around. Just a heads up. Thanks for reading!

Gabriel looked down at the three caskets. He sighed. He had tried so hard.

You sobbed as you held Adrien's hand. "I'm sorry, Adrien. I'm sorry." The monitor only beeped slower.

"Just know that I love you, and no matter what that'll never change." You squeezed his hand. The monitor was even slower now. You waited.

"I love you."

The monitor then went flat. You couldn't help your body shaking. "I love you."

You sobbed as you stood over the casket. Adrien looked so peaceful. You could help the tears pouring from your eyes.

"Why...? Adrien..." You continued to sob. Suddenly there was a hand placed on your shoulder.

You turned to see Gabriel. He had on his stoic face as usual. You couldn't bear to face him.

He gave your shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "Listen," he whispered, "I know how difficult it is, seeing him like this. But I know how we can get him back." Your ears perked at his words.

"W-what?" You stuttered. What was he telling you? He knew how to bring his dead son back to life?

Like a zombie?

"Hear," he said, placing a box snugly in your palm. You eyed it for a minute curiously. "Don't open it until you get home. It'll attract attention."

He then walked away and to his limo. You looked from the box to Adrien's motionless body. You clutched the box tighter.

You wiped the last tear that fell from your eye and turned away. Adrien was your life. A life without Adrien was a life that felt meaningless.

You promised yourself that whatever it takes, you will bring Adrien back.

"I love you, Adrien..."

You sat down at your desk and heaved a sigh. The house felt empty without Adrien's bright and cherry smile and laugh to fill it. You started crying again.

As you raised your hand to wipe the tears away, something fell out of your pocket. You sniffed and looked at the fallen object. It was the box that Gabriel had given you.

"That's right..."

He wanted you to open it when you got home. Something about it drawing attention. "What could you be...?"

You gently grasped the box A-and slowly opened it. Suddenly A-and bright, blue light filled the room. It blinded you momentarily.

"Agh!"

You fell back and put your arms up to defend yourself from the blast. As quick as it came it went. What was that?

You shook your head. Then there was a voice. "Hi, there! I'm Duusu! The Peacock kwami!"

You packed from behind your arms. What...? There was a floating creature staring at you.

It tilted its head. "What? Did I say something wrong? Oh no! Please don't be scared!" It suddenly started crying.

"Why can't I do anything right?! Stupid Duusu! Stupdi!"

The creature slapped itself as it cried. You winced and slowly reached out to the creature. "H-hey...there...little...thingy..."

You cautiously held out your hand. "I-I'm not scared..." It stopped wallowing in its misery to look back at you.

"I'm (Y/n)." The creature smiled. "So you're not upset? Yay! Yay! Yay! Pleased to meet you, (Y/n)! I'm Duusu, and I'll be your partner in-wait. What is my job exactly?"

You eyed Duusu quizzically. "U-um...I'm not sure. I just know that Gabriel gave me this box and told me it would help bring Adrien back and then out you came." The creature's eyes widened.

"Did you say Adrien?"

You nodded your head. "What happened to him? He's not hurt, is he? Oh, what if he's hurt?! Tell me, woman! What happened to him?!" Duusu threw another fit.

Then realization hit you. Adrien... A tear slid down your face.

"...Adrien... he-he's gone..."

Duusu gasped. "What?! No! What is Emilie going to think when she hears this?!" Duusu began panicking.

You could tell that she would be a handful. "Who's Emilie?"You inquired. Duusu paused once more.

"Emilie. His mom." You froze. Why hadn't Adrien told you about his mom?

"His mom?" You quirked an eyebrow. "Yes! What is she going to say when she finds out her son is gone?!"

"...I think she's gone too..." Duusu gasped again. Boy, was she emotional.

"Emilie's gone?! We have to save them!"

"That's exactly what I've been tryin g to tell you! How do we do that?!" You yelled back at her, fed up with her spastic state. Duusu shrunk down into your hand.

"O-oh...well, we need the miraculous for that. The Ladybug and Cat miraculous to be exact." Your eyes widened. "But we can't just fight Ladybug and Cat Noir! They're the heroes of Paris!"

Duusu frowned. "So Gabriel turned to the dark side..." She shook her head.

"How badly do you want Adrien back?"

You leapt atop another building. "Give me your miraculous!" You called out to the superhero. Ladybug hopped across another rooftop.

"(Y/n), stop this!" "I'm not (Y/n) anymore!" You protested. Ladybug shot her yo-yo your way.

You dodged it with ease. "You won't be getting away from me that easily!" You yelled after her. She used her lucky charm.

It was a dodge ball. She raised an eyebrow. "What am I supposed to do with this?"

You lwughed. "You think it's time for a game of ball? I don't think so, little bug!" You hit her with your cane.

"Agh!" She fell back and landed with a thud against the ground. "Please, stop this!" She pleaded.

You only smirked. "I don't think so." You slowly approached her, and she rushed to think of a plan to stop you.

And then she had it. She threw the ball against a light-post and it sent off a chain reaction. You were then hit in the head and knocked out.

The last thing you saw was Adrien's smiling face, shining down at you.

Gabriel looked down at the three caskets. He sighed. He had tried so hard.

He then turned about and headed for the exit. In the three caskets lied a woman and two teens. All three taken too early.

(A/n)- Hey, guys! Sorry if this didn't turn out good. I couldn't think of much. But I hope y'all enjoyed it! Thanks for reading! Bye for now!
