Adrien x Introverted! Reader

(A/n)- This was requested by . Go check them out! Thanks for reading!

Looking back on thst you smiled to yourself. You still haven't't gained a friend, but something else. Would your mom be disappointed?

You slung your bag over your shoulder and sighed. Another school year. Yay.

You gazed out to the field where your class played their usual activities. You wouldn't be caught doing that though. You preferred to sit on the bleachers, reading a nice book.

"(Y/n), are you sure you don't want to play?"

The teacher looked at you with hopeful eyes. You shook your head gesturing to tour book. "I have my book. Wanna read it?"

She politely declined which perplexed you. You thought teachers loved reading. Shrugging your shoulders, you went back to reading your (F/g) (Favorite genre) book.

As years passed, youe classmates changed into, mostly, mature, young adults. You stayed by your lonesome seeing as nobody could make up gossip or distract you if they hadn't had the chance to converse with you. "Hey, you!"

You glanced up to see Chloe, Queen Brattiness, as you addressed her, pestering Marinette. You actually liked Marinette. She didn't gossip about others and always had a snile on her face.

Seeing her getting picked on infuriated you. You kept reading to yourself and spared glances. It was silent.

"You're nothing but a filthy brat who's always two faced!"

Ooh's filled the room as well as a few gasps. You slammed your book shut and glared at the snobby blonde. "A great way to describe yourself, Miss Filthy Brat who's always two faced. I wouldn't be surprised if that was your real name because it suits you so well."

Chloe scoffed and crossed her arms. "And who are you to suddenly speak for the first time in ten years?! And to insult me, an innocent bystander, of all things?!" Your eyes grew to the size of quarters.

Marinette put a hand on your tense shoulder. You cocked your head to the side to look at her. She gave you a small smile.

You sat down slowly and went back to reading. Your cheeks flushed as you felt all eyes on you. Then idle chatter erupted.

Did (Y/n), the quiet and shy girl, speak? And to tell Chloe off? My heart fluttered juet thinking about her.

She obviously has a big heart, sticking up for Mari like that. Chloe even shut up cor once. I guess we should all listen to (Y/n) more often.

I glanced at the (H/l), (H/c) haired girl. Her (E/c) eyes captivated by the wondrous tale in her book. She never has ceased to amaze me.

I've always felt something for (Y/n). She wasn't like everyone else. She kept secrets well and was very intelligent.

But she wouldn't want me. I have too many flaws that she would rather go without. So I sit here everydsy and admire her from afar.

"Hey...um...Adrien, right?"

You tapped the blonde's shoulder, holding back a blush. He was cute, you had to admit. "Hey...um...Adrien, right?"

He turned slightly and you could've sworn you saw a pink hue dusted over his cheeks. Nudging it off, you smiled. "Madam Bustier suggested I work with you on the assignment. She says I need to open up to...others' opinions."

His eyes seemed to brighten at the idea. "O-oh! Of course." Y'all started working together and soon the class was over.

You had learned a lot about Adrien. He even shared his ultimate secret with you. And you promised not to tell.

Well, there was nobodo to tell.

Over the next few weeks you've grown close with Adrien. Having him as an acquaintance was great. He was someone you could speak freely to and he listened like your kitten at home.

To add on to this crazy mess, Adrien's been visiting you every night as Cat Noir. He gets pretty jeslous when your kitten is in the room. "I'm feline pretty hurt, (Y/n).", he would pout.

You smiled to yourself as you waitwd for said cat boy to make his grand appearance. He was going to show you around Paris again and maybe take you out for ice cream. You wouldn't tell him but your last visit to Andre's Ice Cream got your cheeks rosy red.

Your flavors were green mint and vanilla.

A tap on your window brought you back to reality. You rushed over to the balcony where Cat Noir stoof tall with a blush on his face. "Why, hello, M'lady~"

You giggled and beckoned for him to come inside. He took the offer and made himself at home. "You know, (Y/n)...", he trailed off.

You turned to him and tilted your head. "What?" He came closer to you and smirked.

"I'd love to take a look in that open diary on your desk."

You gasped as he ran over to it. You,msmsged to knock him over but, landed on top of him. Your fsce flushed a deeper red thsn Nathaniel's hair.

He sat up and that's when your shock washed away. You got off of Adrien and he stood from the floor. "You know what I like about you, (Y/n)?"

You shook your head still blushing. He leaned in and kissed your lips. You kissed back and closed your eyes.

When y'all pulled away he stared at you. "You're special. You're quiet, beautiful and mysterious. I guess that's what drew me closer to you." You gazed into his emerald orbs and smiled.

"That's an awful long way to say I love you."

So, in the end you didn't do what your mother wanted. She asked for you to make a friend and tou got a boyfriend. But I bet she wasn't too disappointed.
