"But, this isn't you, Cat!"

"Don't you like me, (Y/n)? I've changed just for you!"

You always had admired Cat Noir. He was brave, cute and flirty. But you knew he had a thing for Ladybug.

But you always had hope. Cat was your best friend. He visited you often and shared secrets with you.

Right now you were waiting for him while drawing. "(Y/n), Marc's here to see you." Your eyes lit up and you closed your sketch pad.

"Ok, Mama! I'll be there in a minute!" You rushed to put aeay your journal and walked down stairs. Marc was standing there talking with your mother.

"Hey, Marc. Ready?"

He turned to you and gave a shy smile. "Yeah." Y'all walked up stairs to your room when you heard a noise.

You opened the door to see Cat Noir jumping on your bed. "About time you got here, Purrince-" He cut himself off when he saw Marc.

"Aren't you a little young to be having boys in your room?" He smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? So you shouldn't be in here. Unless..."

His eyes widened. "I'm only implying I'm the only boy allowed in here!" You laughed and sat next to him.

Marc sat at your desk and saw a piece of paper fall from the vanity. He looked at it then stuffed it in his jacket pocket. He turned to you and Cat.

"I thought this was going to be night, (Y/n).", he whined. You averted your gaze from the both of them. "I kinda invited both of y'all...?"

The two males glared at each other. You laughed and stood up. "How about we watch A Miraculous Christmas?" They agreed and y'all laid down on your bed and got comfy.

"What should I do, (Y/n)?"

You looked down ans frowned. "Do whatever makes you happy, Cat." Ad much as you wanted Cat to yourself, you knew that was wrong.

A pair of arms wrapped around you. "Thank you, (Y/n). What did I do to deserve such a great friend?"

The words repeated in your head. Cat was most likely already confessing to Ladybug by now. It made your stomsch twist and tears threatened to spill from your eyes.

"(Y/n)?"

You turned to see Marc at your door. He looked a little shocked and a little  sympathetic. You sniffed. "Oh, hey, Marc."

He sat his bag down and walked over to you. "Hey...wh-what's wrong?" He wrapped an arm around your shoulder.

"N-nothing..."

"Now we both know that's a lie." You laughed and sniffed. "Yeah, you're right."

"I-I just...I'm never gonna be good enough." You looked at Marc and cried. "What do you mean?"

A moment of silence passed. Should you tell him? Marc looked at you worried.

"(Y/n), you'll always be good enough. Whoever made you feel this way obviously has no heart." He was shifting to be mad. You leaned onto his shoulder.

"I-it's not like that..." How could you tell him you were in love with Cat Noir? He would surely laugh at you!

"I-I just found out...that...m-my crush doesn't like me. That's all." Marc wrapped both arms around you and whispered comforting words into your ear. "Well, whoever he is doesn't know how unfortunate he is."

You pulled away slightly from his embrace. You smiled as he wiped a stray tear away. "Thank you...M-Marc."

You leaned forward and closed your eyes. In a second your lips were attached to his. It was a short kiss but it was full of comfort and love.

You stared into his eyes after sharing the small connection. "(Y/n)...I-I've loved you for...who knows how long. A-and I just want you to know...that I would never hurt you." He pushed a strand of hair behind your ear and smiled.

"Thank you, Marc."

"Cat! For the last time, I don't have those kind of feelings for you!" Cat's eyes filled with tears and he backed away. Ladybug gave a frustrated sigh.

"I like someone else. Now I have to go. Bye, Cat." Ladybug used her yoyo and zipped away. Cat fell to his knees and cried.

"Why can't she just love me?!"

He could only turn to one person now. He needed someone to comfort him. You were the only one willing to lend a shoulder to cry on.

"I-I loved her..."

Cat kept whispering to himself at how Ladybug just shoved him away. He wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms. But she liked someone else.

Cat sniffed and made his way to your house. He was expecting you to have already fallen asleep but when he got there you were kissing Marc. His eyes widened and his heart broke.

"Wh-why does every woman in my life abandon me?!"

Cat couldn't take it. He sobbed outside your balcony as he watched the scene before him unfold. He was heartbroken and angry.

He watched as you kissed the dark haired male again. It was like you were hitting him over and over again. He fell to the ground.

"First Ladybug...and now (Y/n)?!" When will his suffering end? Cat couldn't stand it any longer.

He barged into your room and tore Marc from you. You stared at him with your red and puffy eyes. He growled and glared at you.

"C-Cat?"

He gritted his teeth and picked you up by your shirt. "Hey! Put her down!" Marc tugged at Cat's free arm and managed to get you free from his grasp.

Marx grabbed your arm and led tou downstairs. Cat wanted to chase you but then stopped at the door. Why was he so mad?

Then everything went black. Cat heard a voice and it was as if it was coming from right in front of him. "Cat Blanc, I shall grant you the power to make your loved one loyal to only you...for a price. Give me yours and Ladybug's miraculous and you shall have your precious (Y/n)."

Cat didn't hesitate on making the deal. If Ladybug wouldn't love him and you were going to abandon him, he take drastic measures. He didn't even care about Ladybug anymore.

He had known you the longest. He needed you. A life without you by his side was pure torture!

Marc allowed you to take shelter at his house. In fact your entire family stayed there because it was so dangerous. And Cat Noir- well, Cat Blanc didn't know where Marc lived.

"(Y/n), I say we flee this town."

You turned to Marc who was marking spots on a map. "But-but what about Cat?" He glared at you.

"Foeget Cat! There's nothing you can do for him! I thought you didn't like him anymore..." You sniffed and a stray tear slid down your cheek. "(Y-y/n), I'm sorry..."

He looked down and sighed. "I'll be right back. Be careful, okay? I love you and that's all that matters. I can't stand the thought of you being harmed." You nodded your head as he walked out of the room.

Then the window flew open and the wind blew in. You shivered and turned to the window to close it. But then a head peeked from above and you saw bright, glowing, orange eyes glaring at you.

"And he loves you, huh?"

You backed up closer to the door. "Ma-" He cut you off by rushing over and covering your mouth.

"Shh...you're safe with me." You cried as you examined his new outfit. It was white and his smile was replaced with a smirk.

He placed a soft kiss on your forehead. "Now come with me, mon cheri~" You shook your head violently and pulled away from his hold on you.

"Cat, you're not you!"

He laughed slightly and gazed into your (E/c) eyes. "You're right, (Y/n). I'm much better now. I'm not heartbroken and I can finally protect you from evil." You glared at him.

"But, you're not you, Cat!"

"Don't you like me, (Y/n)? I've changed just for you!" Your tears slid down your face and you fell to your knees. "How can you protect anyone from evil when you've turned evil yourself?"

"I hate you, Cat! I wish I'd never had feelings for you!"
