Adrien x Depressed! Bullied! Reader pt.2

You leapt from your spot, racing away from the two males. "(Y/n)!" Cat yelled after you. You laughed.

"You really messed up now, haven't you, Adrien?"

Cat chased after you. "(Y/n), stop! Please!" You looked back to see his tear filled eyes.

You suddenly felt the power drain from your body. "W-what?!" Hawkmoth!

He was taking your power away! Just as you were leaping from another building the akuma was ripped away from your (item) and you detransformed. You blinked.

But before you could question what was happening you were falling to the ground. You screamed. "Help! Help!"

You braced yourself for the impact when nothing came. You peeked over your arm to see Cat carrying you away. You froze in place.

"C-Cat..."

Then it came back to you. You blushed and struggled to get out of his grip. "Let me go! Let me go!"

Cat felt his heart ache at your pleading voice. Pleading to get away from him. Why were you so upset about his identity?

He thought if anything you'd be happy! Run into his arms and wrap your arms around him. But you didn't.

You pushed him away and told him to leave. You cried. He hated himself more than ever, but he didn't understand.

"Please...let me go..."

He looked down at your form, crying and refusing to look up at him. Cat swallowed the lump in his throat, and headed for your house. He couldn't leave you just like this.

You were in danger. With Hawkmoth-his dad-whoever he was now, knew who he was. And he would most likely use that to his advantage.

And he had a feeling that he'd use you again for his plans. Cat landed on your balcony softly. You pushed against his arms to get away.

"Thank you, now please. Go."

You had your head ducked down and your hands clasped together shyly. You refused to bring your head up. Cat detransformed.

"Adrien, leave." Your voice was firmer now. You backed away. Adrien shook his head.

"No, (Y/n). You were just akumatized, and Hawkmoth knows-" "I said get out! I don't want to see you! Get out!" You pushed him back and towards the open balcony.

Adrien stumbled a bit. Your eyes were red and puffy. It was silent.

"...Why are you pushing me away?" Adrien pressed. You refused to speak. "Why can't you just accept that it's me under that mask? That I'm here to protect you, to love you. I love you, (Y/n). Please....don't push me away."

Still you kept your lips sealed, but you looked up to meet his teary gaze. "I saw the broken girl that was calling out for help. I saw the girl that needed love. The girl with a mask that covered more than her identity. And I saw through it." Adrien took your hands.

"And I found you, (Y/n). I saw through your mask, and I accepted you for you. And now I'm asking you to see through my mask, and accept me for me." He cupped your cheek. You flinched away.

"A-Adrien, please..."

Adrien frowned. Why were you pulling away? He watched your shaking form and wrapped his arms tightly around you.

"Adrien! Stop!" You twisted and struggled to get away. Adrien refused to let go. You cried.

"Stop! You'll just leave me! Leave me like everyone else! Just go!"

You broke free from his arms and pushed him away. "Just go..." Adrien replayed your words in his head.

"You really think I'd leave you...? You really think I'd abandon you just like that? You're the best thing that ever happened to me, (Y/n). I love you, I'd never leave you." Adrien pulled you close. You shook your head.

"No, you don't mean that." You didn't want to believe him. You couldn't get close.

"But I do."

You felt your cheeks warm up. You really did love Adrien. But was it worth the heartache?

"I love you, (Y/n)." You felt your heart beat uncontrollably. And that's when you knew, you were too far in.

You couldn't get rid of him even if you wanted to. Adrien really did care about you. You just didn't want to realize it.

"But..." Adrien pulled your chin up to look at him. "Would I ever lie to you, (N/n)?"

You giggled. "I guess not." You stared into each others' eyes.

And then Adrien pressed his lips against yours. It was a sweet and short kiss. Adrien pulled away.

"I love you, (Y/n)."

"I know. You've only said it a hundred times."

Adrien walked into the school, your hand wrapped tightly around his. You blushed under the gazes of the others. They all eyed y'all curiously.

"Adrien! Oh my gosh! How could you?!" Your attention was brought over to a screaming blonde. Adrien sighed.

"How could I what, Chloe?" The blonde stamped her way over to y'all. "You're holding hands with another girl! And thing at that!" You looked away.

Adrien glared at her. "That is my girlfriend, Chloe. And her name is (Y/n). Maybe you'd know that if you weren't always nose deep in your makeup bag." Chloe scoffed.

"How dare you, Agreste! Wait until I tell my daddy!"

"Go ahead, Chloe. We're not scared of you anymore," You piped up. Chloe glared at you. "Excuse me?"

"I said, we're not scared of you anymore. You can't hurt me anymore. I won't let you!" You felt a surge of energy flow through you. You-you were standing up for yourself!

"Ugh! Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!"

Chloe stamped away, leaving you and Adrien to yourselves. Adrien smiled at you. "That was amazing, (Y/n). Where did that come from?"

You smiled cheekily. You averted your gaze. "Let's just say a little cat taught me some tricks."

"Would that little cat happen to be a blonde, Parisian superhero?"

"...Maybe..."
