(A/n)- This was requested by . Go check them out! And there are some trust issues and abandonement issues up ahead. If this bothers anyone, please let me know and I'll change it. Thanks for reading!

You stared at the door with tears in your eyes. Whimpers left your lips as you waited. Being only five, you didn't understand.

"Mommy..."

You sighed as you sat at lunch, eying the multiple people that conversed at their tables. You pushed your tray away and decided to go to the library. There was still time before you had to be back in class, so why not?

Inside you saw Chloe and Marinette arguing over something. You remembered Madame Bustier making them partners for the project. You decided to stay out of their way.

"Ugh! Why must I do everything myself?!" Chloe snapped. You picked out a book to pass the time. You could hear the groans of Marinette from across the bookshelf.

"You haven't anything, Chloe! Sabrina's doing your work right now!" You heard the shuffle of feet and Marinette left the library. You felt sorry for her.

Chloe was always mean to everyone. And although it doesn't justify her actions, she's had it rough herself. You felt a twinge of empathy for the blonde.

Suddenly there was a crash. You jolted from your spot and looked around the corner. There was a scream.

"Chloe Bourgeois, your reign of terror is over!"

You saw Nathaniel. But he was akumatized! (Yes, Evilistrator.) Your eyes widened.

He was heading straight for Chloe! You had to do something, and fast. You ran to the restroom and brought (Kwami's name) out.

"Just say the words, (Y/n)!" they said. You fastened your (piece of jewelry) and said, "(Kwami's name), (feathers, wings, tail, etc/ out, on, etc)!" You did your signature transformation and ran to Chloe's aid.

Nathaniel had drawn (?) a blow dryer and it was now chasing her. You almost wanted to laugh. You used your special tool and pulled the blow dryer away from her.

The blow dryer pulled you with it and you lost control of it. "(Superhero name)!" You were being dragged by the enormous appliance when Chloe grabbed a hold of it to stop it.

"That should take care of you for now. I have a date to get to," Nathaniel said, taking off and leaving the blow dryer to chase both you and Chloe. You managed to bring it to a halt and it fell to the floor. You turned to Chloe.

"Thank you for your help," you said, holding out your hand for a handshake. "But what did you do to Nathaniel guy to get him to target you?" Chloe averted her gaze and scoffed.

"I have no clue! He was drawing these tacky drawings of Maria Brat and I simply pointed it out. He didn't have to get all sullen over it!" Chloe crossed her arms. "Chloe, maybe you should've minded your own business. That kind of sullen tuff can really hurt people. What if he didn't want anyone to know?"

The blonde glanced at you. "Hmph! Well, if that's the case, he should've said something! It's not my fault for not knowing!" You rolled your eyes. "Then, I have to get going. There's an akuma on the loose and I don't want it getting to anyone else."

You went to leave when Chloe caught your arm. You paused and raised an eyebrow. Chloe blushed.

"I'm sorry for whatever I did... And thank you for coming to save me." You smiled at the remorseful blonde. "Thank you, Chloe. Now, I have an akuma to catch. You should get to safety," You replied, zipping off and in the direction that the akuma went.

"Yeah..."

Chloe walked into the room, talking with Sabrina. You sat in your seat at the back of the classroom, writing in your journal. Chloe spotted you.

"Oh, that's new. You're usually in the library. I was hoping to be alone." You looked up and saw that she was talking to you. You blushed out of embarrssment.

"S-sorry. I'll leave."

"No. Stay. You don't actually get on my nerves." Chloe flipped her hair and sat at her seat, going back to her conversation with Sabrina. You stared at her.

You shook your head and went back to writing. Chloe was just letting you stay.

You decided to stay in your spot and keep silent.

Chloe walked into the library, Sabrina not with her. She felt alone and unprotected. Why did Sabrina have to be sick?

She walked around until she spotted a table with a lonely person sitting there. It was you. Surely she could sit down and you wouldn't bother her.

You looked up and saw Chloe. You felt as if she was trying to get close. And that was the last thing you wanted.

You gathered your things and got up. Class was about to start anyway. So you made your way down the hall and to the classroom.

Chloe sat there eying the now empty space. Why did you leave? Did you not want to sit next to her?

Chloe pouted. Today would be a long day. She let out a sigh.

"(Y/n)! Oh, darling!"

You perked at the sound of your voice being called. What? Darling?

You turned to see a woman with (Mother's features) standing there with her hands clasped together. She stood at the foot of the steps. You were just about to go in.

The woman had gained some attention. There were people looking at the two of you. You didn't have a clue as to who this woman was.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" you asked, narrowing your eyes at her. The woman gasped. "Have I really been gone that long that you don't recognize your own mother?"

Your eyes shot open. "W-what?" You could feel your heart pounding in your chest.

The flashback came back. She left you. She just...left.

No explanation. No goodbye. No coming back.

Tears welled in your eyes. "No. I'm sorry, but you must be mistaken. My mother left years ago, she left." You turned away and started back up the steps.

The woman caught up to you. "(Y/n), I'm sorry! I had to leave!" She caught your arm.

"I had to find myself. I had to make sure that I was ready to take care of you. You are the light of my world, and I didn't want to let you go. But I had to find myself first. But I'm here now." You looked at her. She couldn't be serious.

"We can be a family again. I'm here for you." You grew mad. "You don't just suddenly show up when I'm nearly grown and wnat to start again! That's not how it works! A family is a commitment that you need to stay true to!"

The woman started crying. "I'm sorry..." You went to shame her more when someone caught your arm.

You looked to see Chloe holding your arm with a sympathetic expression. "Don't. She's not worth it. Come on. Class is statting." She offered you a smile and led you and way from the woman.

You spared the lady another glance. Whether she was your mother or not, she opened a deep scar that took years to heal. You let Chloe lead you to class.

She took a detour and ended you in the library. You eyed her curiously. "What are we doing here?" you asked.

"Pollen, buzz on."

A bright, yellow light blinded your vision. Then there stood Queen Bee. The superhero that you admired for her Sassi Ness and confidence.

"I know your secret too. I want you to know that you're not alone." Chloe took your hands. "I've known who you were since day one. I always felt a connection with you. And now I know why. You feel alone just like me."

Your cheeks heated. Was Chloe confessing? Chloe, the girl who never showed her true feelings.

"Well, I'm tired of being alone."

Her words made your heart beat even faster. She embraced you. You went stiff.

"It's ok. You don't have to go it alone anymore." You started crying. Were you really letting go?

The tears and the racing of your heart told you. You were ready. You didn't want to be alone anymore.

You leaned in to the embrace, smiling at the comfort and safety it brought you.

(A/n)- So, how was it? Sorry if this bothers anyone. If it does, please let me know and I'll change it. But I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading! Bye for now!
