As I was talking to Vincent Cedric, I heard a voice from the left side of the forest.

"Shit!!!"

"What's wrong?"

Realizing that I was looking at the forest. Vincent was looking at the forest too.

Slowly, WellfRed emerged from the forest. Not just one, there were over 40 WellfRed that appeared and all of them surrounded me and the knights.

"I never thought these monsters would appear. All the soldiers form a defensive formation. Protect the wounded, get them in the center of the formation."

Captain Vincent Cedric gave the order. The knights formed a defensive formation, even though they were still injured. They quickly obeyed the order.

They were truly disciplined. I then approached Rosylin.

"Do you have a sword for me?"

"Take mine! I have two."

I took Rosylin's sword. This was my first time holding a sword. It seemed that I could try out my mastery of all weapons. I picked up a spear that was lying around. Incorporated wind magic into the spear. Then, a spiral wind wrapped around the spear. Without thinking, I threw the spear towards WellfRed very hard. The spear pierced WellfRed to the back because it was too strong. The spear dug into the tree trunk. I then held the sword with both hands.

Without fear, I directly faced the WellfRed. The WellfRed attacked me, but I could see the monster's movements. By looking at the gap space, I dodged its attack and slashed the WellfRed's body in half.

"As Miss Laura said, this man is very skillful. But we can't afford to lose. Everyone, don't let these monsters destroy our formation. Finish these monsters off, lest we be frightened by their numbers."

The way their defensive formation was done was quite simple, yet effective. They used the defending knights as shields, and the wounded attacked using spears in the center of the formation. Not only that, the defenders also defended while slashing WellfRed. Together with Laura, he provided a power-up buff. Their cooperation was very good.

Unlike Vincent Cedric. His fighting style was to lunge at monsters while dodging attacks. His movements are few but effective. It doesn't consume much energy and time. Neat but powerful slashes. A man with a lot of experience and skill.

As for Rosylin, her fighting style was to attack at high speed. He slashed at all WellfRed with his sword. She dodged and parried all of WellfRed's attacks. 

I'd better not let my guard down. Just as I was preparing to break through the WellfRed herd, a herd of WellfRed that was more than twice the size of the forest appeared and tried to attack together.

"Wait!!! Where was the WellfRed swarm headed. Leon! Watch out!"

Laura shouted to warn me.

"Damn it!"

I quickly cast magic.

"[Lighting strike]"

The magic strike struck in various directions hitting WellfRed's body. Even so, there were still many WellfRed still alive.

"So, what Miss Laura said was true. This man can fight with his bare hands and can also use magic."

As if realizing the danger coming from me. The swarm of WellfRed monsters attacking the knights turned their attention towards me. They all surrounded and attacked me.

"We need to get to the person who saved Miss Laura!"

The knights rushed towards me to help me. I tried to escape the siege. I was pushed back by their numbers and almost fell. I wasn't sure how long I could hold off the overwhelming number of them. WellfRed's voices were very distracting.

"Hey, Roxa! Can I use [wind breaker] magic one more time?" I asked Roxa in my mind.

Quickly the WellfRed jumped at me. Without being able to rest the WellfRed attacked me relentlessly. I dodged all the attacks and took the opportunity to attack. I used various openings to slash. I didn't want to waste the chance to live. 

"[You know that magic drains a lot of mana. Your current body still can't control the power of that magic. If the master can't control the attack power, it will drain almost all the mana in the body."]

"So, I just have to control the amount of mana I put into this magic. Heh!!! It's better that way, than being torn apart by this swarm of crazy monsters," I replied to Roxa.

"[If that's your decision, then I can't do anything else.]"

"Good!!! [Lighting strike]."

I made space so that I could use [wind breaker] magic. I took a stance preparing to attack. I put a lot of mana into this magic.

"[Wind breaker]"

A magic circle appeared in the sky. A strong and sharp spiral wind tore WellfRed's body into pieces of minced meat. Blood rained down as a result of WellfRed's blood. It was different from the previous attack. The magic attack power this time was much stronger and faster. Even WellfRed's body pieces became like minced meat. Not only that, the strong wind from the magic blew the tree trunks and shook the trees, some trees broke and fell on WellfRed who was hiding in the forest.

"What kind of magic is this? The attack power is so great, it's even cutting through the armor." Vincent tried to resist the attack of the strong wind.

"I don't know either Sir. Vincent. But before that we must try not to be blown away."

"Yes."

The knights set up defensive positions so that they would not be blown away by the strong wind.

"What is this? It's like a hurricane."

"Hold on! We must hold on."

"Ah!!! My legs are cut by this sharp wind."

The knights tried hard not to be blown away by my magic. Some were almost carried away by the strong wind, but they were saved by their comrades.

"Leon!!!"

After 5 minutes the wind stopped. There were only puddles of blood and flesh scattered about.

"Has it stopped?"

"It seems so."

"What about that guy? Is he okay?"

"He's there!!!"

I tried to stand up with what little strength I had left. 

"Hah! Hah! Hah! Hah! I really didn't expect it to be like this. I put too much mana into this magic. My body is so tired."

With a tired and weak body I fell down to stare at the sky.

"Leeeooon!!!"

As my consciousness almost faded all I heard was Laura's scream calling my name until finally my vision went dark.
