SUDDEN ENCOUNTER

"Hello, yup I left the Hall. Are you down? I am on my way."

"Yes, I am just entering the street. Will be there in the next 5 minutes", Megan said from the other side of the call.

"Okay", saying this I hung up the call.

I went out of the washroom hurriedly & suddenly bumped into a man.

" I am sorry ", I looked up.

It was Jacob Elzar , the famous Jacob Elzar who had delivered back to back four hit films this year & took the world by storm with his recent music video.

" Hey, I am sorry too. I should have seen you, are you okay?"

His voice was so calm.

"Yeah, I am good. No it was really my fault, shouldn't be in such a hurry."

"Well, it's good you are fine", he smiled.

I smiled back.

He then started to walk when I suddenly held his hand, I shouldn't have done that.

He looked at me & the man behind came close to me when he stopped him and said, " Easy. Everything's fine."

He then looked at me & said, "Miss you want to say something?"

"Yeah, actually. Can I get a picture with you. I am really sorry, suddenly to hold your hand like this, I shouldn't have, but my sister is really a big fan of yours, I mean a very big fan. So her birthday is coming soon & if you kindly.."

"Yeah, yeah sure. Do you have a paper?"

"Umm.. No."

He looked at the other man & signalled something. He took out a pen & gave it to him.

He put his hands inside his shirt pocket & took out a white tissue.

He scribbled something on the tissue & then said, "What's you sister's name?"

" Akshita", I quickly responded.

" What?"

"Ak-shi-ta", I said.

" Okay", he smiled.

And then handed me the paper.

"Thank you & just a picture please."

"Yeah sure."

I quickly took out my phone from my bag & then looked at the other man and said, "Hey Mr. Can you please click a picture of me with him. Please, come take this phone."

He looked at Jacob, I also then looked at him. He was smiling, he looks good when he smiles, I must say my sister has good choices.

"Dan just click a picture please."

He came forward & took my phone.

"Thank you. Mr. Dan", I said. He was so weird.

I stood close to Jacob & he suddenly put his one hand around my shoulder. I was unprepared for this.

" Smile", said Dan. And I quickly smiled.

But suddenly Jacob said, "Dan just a minute." I looked at him.

"So, you will click the picture with mask on."

Shit I forgot to remove my mask.

"Ohh.So sorry. I forgot to open it." I quickly took it off & smiled at him, "Covid normalities you know.So we are ready."

I stood there & then suddenly Dan said, "J, look at the camera."

"Yeah", he said & smiled.

After that Dan came up & gave me the phone.

" Just one more, I promise it's the last."

Dan sighed. But Jacob agreed to it. I quickly switched my camera & took a selfie of me & Jacob.

Then I looked at Dan and said, "Come & join us.I want a picture with you too."

"Me? But why me I mean.. ", he was about to say something more but I intervened him & said, " Come on, my friend is waiting down for me. Please."

He came & stood behind Jacob who was smiling all this time looking at Dan.

I took another selfie with both of them.

"Are we now free to go, even we have someone waiting for us down", Dan said looking at his watch.

" So go when did I stop you", I said.

He was about to say something when suddenly Jacob said, "Dan you go down I am following you."

He nodded & left.

"Your friend is a little bit rude", I said to Jacob.

He smiled and said, " He is just doing his work."

"Okay, thank you so much Jacob, now I got the best surprise for my sister. She will go crazy after seeing this. You don't know how big fan she is of yours."

"And you?", he asked me.

" Umm.. Let's walk & talk", I said.

"Hmm", he started walking beside me. "So only your sister is my fan not you?"

I smiled & said, "No I mean she is a very big fan. And I.. I mean your movies. They are good, you do act well."

"So you don't like me."

"No.No.I mean you are okay. Uhh... Sorry you are good, very good, but I do not fantasize you like she does."

"Okay", he said looking down.

" Hey, I didn't mean to hurt, I am sorry."

"No... I am not hurt, in fact happy that you are not lying in front of me, not afraid of telling what you really feel."

He stopped in front of the stairs & took out his phone. He looked at me and said, "A selfie?"

I was shocked. I never expected such a popular actor to ask for a selfie from a normal girl, who's not even a fan.

He raised his phone & I smiled along with him.

"So, it was nice meeting you Ak..umm..ak"

"Akshita", I said.

He smiled & said, " Yeah yeah, it was nice meeting you Akshita's sister."

I laughed, his accent, typical Australian & Akshita sounded so different.

"Yeah it was, by the way I am Akshara."

"Akshi", he repeated.

" No not ... akshi, it's Akshara"

"Aksarrah", he said.

I smiled & said, " Yeah you can say that too."

Suddenly my phone rang. It was from Megan for sure.

"Okay bye. My friend's already here. "

"Bye."

I smiled at him & hurriedly went down the stairs.

Coming out I saw Megan. As soon she saw me she started her scotter. I quickly sat behind her & took out the helmet from my bag, wore it as she drove down the Arrow Road.
