Trial Of Knowledge, And More Information

In the blink of an eye, I found myself standing in the heart of a vast chamber, bathed in the golden glow of cosmic energy. Before me stood a figure, youthful yet emanating an aura of ancient wisdom.

"Welcome, travelers, to the Library of Knowledge," the boy intoned solemnly.

My mind reeled at the impossibility of it all. How could such a place exist, constructed of cosmic energy so dense it pulsed with life?

Before I could voice my incredulity, the boy spoke again, his words laden with purpose. "To unlock the secrets of this place, you must first undertake the Trial of Knowledge."

"What even are these trials?" I demanded, confusion and frustration blending in my voice.

"The trials are a means to gain immense knowledge in a short amount of time. To gain basic entry to the library, you must complete one trial. I cannot say more than that. Farewell, traveler. We will meet again soon."

"Wait, I have more to ask—" My words were cut off as a bright light enveloped me, transporting me to another realm.

I found myself standing on barren, rocky ground beneath a sky filled with swirling galaxies. Before me loomed a monstrous worm, its body stretching endlessly into the horizon, its scales shimmering with the energy of devoured stars. This was the infamous Star Devourer, a creature of legend and terror.

The battle commenced with a roar that shook the very fabric of space. The Star Devourer lunged at me, its massive maw opening to swallow me whole. Drawing upon every ounce of my cultivation, I summoned a shield of cosmic energy, deflecting its initial attack. The impact sent tremors through my body, but I stood firm.

I countered with a barrage of energy blasts, each one aimed at the creature's vulnerable underbelly. The Star Devourer retaliated with beams of starfire, each searing bolt a test of my agility and strength. We clashed, an epic struggle of power and will, the battlefield illuminated by the brilliance of our conflict.

Hours seemed to pass as we fought, every move and countermove pushing me to the brink. Finally, with a decisive strike, I unleashed a torrent of energy that pierced through the beast's defenses, striking its core. The Star Devourer let out a deafening cry before collapsing into a heap of stardust.

Breathing heavily, I stood victorious. The light flashed again, and I was back in the library, the boy greeting me with a nod.

"Congratulations, you have passed the trial and gained access to the first floor of the Library of Knowledge. You may now ask all you want."

"What was that test? I had to fight a giant worm the size of a world!"

"The tests are tailored to the individual's power. That you fought the Star Devourer, even in its young stage, speaks volumes of your strength. It is a crowning achievement."

"Alright, let's calm down. You said I can ask anything?"

"Yes, within the bounds of the first level," the boy confirmed.

"So, what is this place and who created it?"

"I am sorry, I cannot divulge that information. To learn more, you must complete additional trials to access higher levels of the Library."

"That's annoying, but I guess I have no choice. What can I do on the first level?"

"The first level allows you to learn anything from all galaxies, dimensions, or any other spatial planes to which my master has access. To gain more, you must complete more missions or tasks to increase your level. There are a total of 100 levels in the complete system. Levels 1-10 grant access to the first and second floors of the library. Levels 11-20 allow entry to the third and fourth floors, and so on."

"Understood. I suppose I'll start exploring then. Oh, one more thing—am I able to take the big mass I found to get in here?"

"Yes and no. You can take it, but my master will be alerted to anyone who does, and he will keep a close eye on you. I do not recommend it."

"Thanks for the advice," I said, turning to the vast array of books. Each book contained knowledge from different galaxies. I searched for the Alpha Ilioneus galaxy, the one I hailed from.

Finally, I found it. "Alpha Ilioneus," I read aloud. The book detailed the unique properties of cosmic energy within my galaxy, energy that could not be absorbed without special means. It also contained the strongest techniques known in our galaxy. My heart raced with excitement.

"This is exactly what I need," I whispered, engrossed in the text. The techniques described within were beyond anything I had imagined, offering new avenues for my cultivation and research.

After hours of study, I copied the essential information into another book, as the original could not be taken. It was time to return home and process everything I had learned.

The library had opened a new realm of possibilities, and I was eager to explore them all.
