Alec was surprised to see the sudden notifications and what was even more unbelievable to him was the Exp that he has yet to gain to level up. He was very far away from leveling up, soon he noticed the other notification about a reward and quickly clicked the equipment window option.

There wasn't much explanation about the use of this dagger and Alec was quite disappointed since he could only use it once. He had already lost the only weapon he had and hated getting his hands dirty with the monster blood that was red like humans but too slimy and thick.

' I have to find the boss monster quick, the entire kingdom might face some chaos if am not back on time.' Alec thought, he knew that after this the world will change and he needs to be at least there to face the challenges.

After walking and searching for thirty minutes, Alec found the traces of the boss monsters and it made him nervous to face that kind of a beast. Currently where Alec was standing there were several cracks in the barren land from where the Lava was coming out and there were footprints of a beast that was probably very huge.

Alec was not being careless even if he was feeling the strongest today. There was still fear gripping his heart, he tried to find the monsters around the area where the footprints were.

' The Boss monster is the strongest, so there is a better chance that it would be roaming around alone. I am sure these belong to that particular monster.' Alec thought and followed the footprints.

Soon he felt the earth below his feet shaking, the tremors were not caused by some reaction in the nearby volcanoes. As he looked from behind a huge rock, he could see a huge monster that looked like an Earth dragon from the stories he had read in his childhood.

He quickly reached near to have a more clear view and confirm it. It had no wings, it had a large head and long neck. The dragon walked on two feet and had very tiny hands. On his back was something that looked like a miniature Volcano. It had several spikes all over his tail that could easily kill Alec in one swing.

Despite the threat, Alec ran toward the beast, ' I just need to defeat this.' He thought and charged forward from behind, it was more dangerous since its tales looked more dangerous but since the beast still hasn't noticed his presence, he chose to attack with this method.

Ran at full speed towards the beast and when he reached closer he hit the beast with a spinning heel kick over one of his legs.

* Graaaaaaah!* The beast screamed and swung his deadly tail like a whip. Alec had already retreated as soon as his attack connected. He was certainly able to deal with a great amount of damage but the monster easily recovered from it.

' He is tougher and that was his weak point.' Alec thought, he was not confident that he could land such a blow again.

*Grrrrrraahaaaa! *

The beast roared and turned towards Alec, it ran at a great speed and tried to bite alec with his large jaws but Alec dodged it very easily. The beast looked confused when nothing came into his mouth and the next second he felt something like a hammer hit his jaws. Alec had dodged the bite attack and delivered a powerful round-housed kick on the upper jaw of the beast.

' I am not normal.' Alec thought to himself as he saw that he dislocated the Jaw of the beast with one powerful attack. He was able to predict the attack, plan according to it and even have enough power in his attack to do effective damage.

[ Do you want to turn on the damage meter?]

' Huh, what is it? Maybe I should.' Alec thought and quickly clicked yes.

Alec was surprised that he had already dealt this much damage and that the monster was even able to recover his health. It was an issue that he had no information on the beast, this time he wasn't even told the name of the beast.

Fighting the beast he noticed that there were many openings, however as many openings as there were, the dangers of being killed in one attack were there as well. The Danger increased when suddenly smoke started to rise from the miniature volcano over the back of the beast and the eyes of the beast became completely red.

The Beast had created distance between itself and Alec.

' Oh shit!' Alec thought as he finally understood what was happening. Flames started to form in its mouth and it aimed toward Alec, it was a huge attack and very hard to dodge.

Alec ran toward the right, but the beast kept moving his head while throwing up flames from his mouth. Alec ran in an arc to avoid this attack but soon more danger came as the land below their feat also started to react to the heat.

Several cracks appeared and through them, lava poured out, and slowly it was covering every part of the land. The best was not affected by it at all but it was surely a problem for Alec.

' It's now or never.' Alec thought as he charged forward towards the beast who was still throwing up flames but at a slower rate than before. He jumped over the flames to avoid the attack while getting near the beast.

It stopped throwing up the flames and readied its tail for a final attack to kill him in one shot. Alec still didn't falter and when almost reached where the beast was, the tail was swung.

* BOOM*

The area where the tail landed exploded which pushed back Alec, his body was burnt as the lava was split all around the area.

* Arghh!* Alec screamed as his skin burnt and he was hit by the lava rocks in many places, but he bit on his lips and charged forward once again. The tail of the beast was not moving he jumped over his back where the Volcano was.

' This is your weakest spot, right? I should have figured it out before.' He said as he took out the reward he got from killing those monsters before. He stabbed the dagger inside of that volcano and quickly jumped off the back of the beast.

The beast felt the pain of being but it was not aware of what the dagger could do, it didn't pay any attention to it. After Alec had landed back on the ground there was no way to run as he was surrounded by lava.

The beast stopped for a moment before preparing himself, then it started to run towards where Alec was standing.

" You don't understand, It is already over for you," Alec said as he smiled.

[ The Effect has been activated.]

* BOOOOOOM!*

A huge blast occurred on the back of the beast and it didn't even allow the beast to scream before its back was blown into pieces. The body of the beast fell to the ground and Alec finally let his guard down.

' It was easy, or maybe not.' Alec thought after the beast was down but his skin was burning and causing him pain.

[ Congratulations, You have successfully defeated the boss monster.]

[ Do you want to announce it to the world?]

" Announce to the world, no there is no need for that. I just want to go back." Alec thought.

" Red Blaze," Alec said.

' Is that so?' Alec thought, it was good that whatever he had could only be used by him.

Alec became anxious after seeing the counter, he felt anxious. Many things must have changed in the world. It would change how the world used to work before, even now he was thinking of how to deal with things, as a king he must do whatever he can, but first, he needs to return and find out what happened to the rest of the world.
