Chapter 226

Harry, Rimuru, and Soi Fon stepped into the cell where Aizen is being kept captive, the room was pretty much empty, only walls of white could be seen along with the floor and ceiling, it was a cube room with only one thing visible in the middle of such an empty room.

Right there, sitting in some kind of stone chair and wrapped around what seemed to be black ribbons of cloth, sat none other than Aizen, his body looked like it was wrapped like a mummy and only his head was free.

Despite the situation Aizen is in, he still gives Harry a small and amused smile, "Harry Potter, you were the person I least expected to come for a visit, what brings you here, Black Dragon?".

Soi Fon frowned at the casual way Aizen began to speak with Harry and the way he seemed to dismiss her presence here, Rimuru just stared through the water bottle at Aizen and admired the way he was sealed by the cloth ribbons.

To Rimuru's eyes or rather his mana sense skill, he could see how those ribbons of clothes were woven with countless sigils on their surfaces, small and almost undetectable by sight alone, the number of seals placed on Aizen was incredible, whoever had him sealed, must not want him to be able to call upon even an ounce of his power.

In fact, all of Aizen's spiritual energy was being drained and recycled into other seals within the cloth ribbons, which further increased the power and swiftness with which they drained Aizen's spiritual energy.

If this was done to any other person, they wouldn't be able to survive for not even a few minutes and it would be a swift and excruciating death, given that their souls would have been ripped, absorbed, and recycled continuously nonstop.

But Rimuru's thoughts were interrupted when Harry spoke up, "Black Dragon... it's been a while since I've heard you call me that, can't say I particularly like hearing you call me that though".

Aizen looked amused and not all offended by Harry's words, "But that's what you are no? A dragon... that fact already puts you ahead over every human and even some shinigami.

Your ability to adapt and become stronger so fast is part of what you are as a dragon, as you so showcased in our last battle, to think you would grow so powerful and so fast, enough to even hold me back for quite a while".

Harry stared towards Aizen with a frown on his face, "You were the only one who figured out what I was back then, and even then, you dismissed me as just another simple obstacle to your plans.

The way you're speaking to me right now, tells me that hasn't changed, are you that confident that I can't do anything to you; or is it something else, another one of your plans?".

Aizen looked at Harry with a surprised look in his eyes, though such a look only lasted a few seconds before he began to lightly chuckle, "Oh, I am taking you seriously Harry Potter, you being a dragon is a very dangerous and an unknown factor.

Before you appeared, I had no idea about the fact that dragons nor magic existed, imagine my surprise when I saw a kid throwing powerful elemental attacks with a wave of his hand, fighting with two big key-like swords, and transforming into a dragon to try and stop me from escaping Soul Society the day I revealed I was the one who betrayed the shinigami".

Harry looked to the side and huffed, the day, he, Ichigo, and everyone else had rescued Rukia, Aizen appeared and tried to get ahold of Rukia, Ichigo being injured by his fight with Byukuya, had been unable to stop him.

Rukia ended up having the Hōgyoku extracted by Aizen and as Aizen tried to float away into a garganta, Harry flew over everyone and tried to stop him, however, Aizen was protected by the negacion barrier and Harry was blasted back.

In a fit of anger and frustration, Harry suddenly transformed into his dragonlord form, Aizen and his followers' eyes widened in surprise when a big black-scaled dragon suddenly launched itself toward Aizen and lashed out with its claws trying to get to the traitor.

However, the negacion barrier was able to push Harry back even more in his dragon form, though he was still able to crack it and make Aizen pale in nervousness, if the negacion were to shatter, then every shinigami would have tried to stop his escape.

That included Captain-Commander Yamamoto and as arrogant as Aizen was, he knew he couldn't beat the Captain-Commander in a full-on battle at the time, thankfully, Harry was not able to break through as Aizen escaped into Hueco Mundo.

Still, Harry was left furious about the fact that Aizen had escaped after everything he had done, it was something that even to this day, still bothered him a lot, "You were lucky that time Aizen".

Aizen smiled, "I'm very well aware, but after that day, I did a little digging into dragons and magic... imagine my surprise when I found magic users in London and monsters like dragons as well, care to tell me about that?".

Harry didn't show any kind of reaction this time and just stared at Aizen as the bastard gave him a smug look, on the inside however, Harry was shocked to hear that there were magic users in this world and even dragons it seemed.

It was quite the surprise but not an important one right now, curious as Harry was, he had way to many things to take care of, but perhaps, someday he'd go to London and see what was happening there.

Right now, at the moment, Harry had Aizen to deal with, "I don't know anything about those magic users and dragons, but I can tell by your smug look, that you believed to have discovered my origins... you're wrong though".

Aizen stopped smiling and narrowed his eyes towards Harry, "... That's impossible, I searched the world for dragons and other magic users looking for answers about where you came from".

Harry grinned at Aizen and then shrugged, "What can I tell you? You just wasted your time, whatever those dragons are, they're nothing like I am, as for those magic users? No idea who or what they are either".

Aizen frowned and stared at Harry, "It matters not, I will eventually find out...".

"You won't, you have run out of time Aizen".

Aizen looked a bit surprised by Harry's words, until he realized what he was doing here and what his presence meant, "Hah! So they sent you to end me? You're just wasting your time Harry Potter, the Hōgyoku keeps me alive, I am immortal, eternal and nothing you can do will change that!".

Harry shook his head and walked closer to Aizen, the traitor just amusingly stared at Harry as he got close to him and when Harry was right in front of him he spoke up again, "I heard about your high-speed regeneration, it seems like it's too fast that you don't even have time to feel pain, right?".

Aizen nodded, "That's right, they tried everything to end me, but the Hōgyoku kept me alive, it seems that even now, I'm still worthy of it".

Harry looked down at Aizen from his standing position in front of him in silence for a few seconds, until he suddenly raised a hand and began to reach over to Aizen's unclothed eye.

Aizen just continued to smile completely confident that whatever Harry did, it wouldn't do anything, until the dragon god suddenly jabbed his fingers into his eye socket.

It was here that Aizen knew something was very wrong, for pain flooded his very being and he couldn't help but howled in pain as Harry grabbed his eye with his fingers and began to slowly and painfully pull it out.

Aizen squirmed and screamed in his seat, unable to move nor do anything as Harry slowly pulled out his eye and then ripped it off leaving Aizen to continue to howl in agonizing pain.

Soi Fon grinned in sheer joy as he watched Aizen suffer, to her it was a relief to see the bastard that had caused so much pain to a lot of people suffer like this, Soi Fon fully believed that Aizen deserved this and much worse after all.

Rimuru sweatdropped upon hearing Aizen's howls in pain though, "Wow... I'm so glad I'm a slime and I have the pain nullification skill... that sounds like it hurts like hell".

Harry nodded and then said, "That's why I did it, this son of a bitch deserves it, plus his smug smile was pissing me off too".

Aizen stopped screaming and then growled towards where he heard Harry, "What have you done!? Why am I not healing!? Why do I feel so much pain!? What sort of magic did you use!?".

Harry lifted his hand to his face and stared at Aizen's eye as he began to answer Aizen's questions, "Well, isn't that a surprise, the magical dragon was able to hurt you and keep you from healing, isn't that a bitch?...".

Aizen growled at Harry's sarcasm and dry voice, but the dragon god didn't care much about Aizen's feelings at the moment and just kept speaking, "You know, I don't blame you for dismissing me for a threat.

Usually, I tend to get aggravated when that happens but you're a special exception, after all, you beat me within an inch of life that day I tried to hold you back during the Winter War, I was really weak back then.

A lot of my powers and abilities were being held back by the nature of this world so when the Hōgyoku made you become something akin to a god, I wasn't able to match up against you anymore.

It was only because of Ichigo... because of his sacrifice that we were able to stop you...", Harry suddenly narrowed his eyes and then crushed Aizen's eye with his hand, "But I hated the fact that Ichigo had to sacrifice his power to stop you...

I hated you because you pushed him to do that, I even hated Soul Society for being to weak to stop you when it was their job to do so, you... you were the reason I had to leave this world.

Because of you, I had to go out there and get stronger... even still, I really should thank you though, because you pushed me to continue my travels I was able to reach power levels beyond even your imagination.

Otherwise, I might have chosen to stay in this world to live out my days... in a way, you were a big part of me becoming who I am today, I still hate you and I'm going to kill you.

But at the very least, you should know just what you helped create, what I have become because I never wanted to feel the same way you made me feel that day in the Winter War".

Despite being in pain, Aizen listened intently to Harry's words but as the dragon god went on with his speech, Aizen began to feel a sense of dread, one that he hadn't felt in a very long time, "... What are you, Harry Potter?...".

Harry made the water bottle that held Rimuru float beside him with telekinesis and then summoned Oblivion into his hand, he then pointed the dark keyblade towards Aizen's chest, "I'm Harry James Potter, the Twilight Dread Dragon God of Chaos and Creation.

A True Dragon and an eternal being that holds the very powers of all creation and death, I hold the title of Master of Death. Really, I hold so many titles that I would be here all day telling you about them but I rather not waste your time with that.

What you really want to know, is how I was able to bypass the regeneration and immunities the Hōgyoku granted you right?".

Aizen numbly nodded, he was in a lot of pain and the fact that he was feeling pain at all, told him that what Harry just told him, was true and that had him both worried and feeling a bit in awe.

Harry closed his eyes and then continued, "I have abilities that are tailored to be very effective to anything considered supernatural, divine, or even spiritual, I can kill gods with ease, destroy universes with a wave of my hand, or even create an entire new reality with my thoughts alone.

I have become what you desired to be Aizen, I have ascended beyond anything a normal being is capable of, what you wished to become, to be, that's what I am now.

The so-called magical dragon you had dismissed as a threat, has become the one thing that can kill you, destroy you completely, it's almost poetic, the one who will end you, will be the one you never expected to amount to much".

Aizen didn't respond nor say anything, he just seemed to look over towards where he heard Harry's voice, this stayed like that for a while, to the point that Soi Fon and Rimuru began to think that perhaps, Harry had broken the man.

Until Aizen began to lowly chuckle, his little outburst began to become louder and louder until he suddenly began to laugh out loud in a manic manner, this startled Soi Fon quite a bit, never did she expect Aizen to react this way to his upcoming doom, he looked utterly insane insane right now.

Rimuru just raised an eyebrow and wondered if Aizen finally snapped, Harry though, he just stared at the traitor with an unimpressed look in his eyes.

Aizen then suddenly stopped laughing and began to loudly speak, "So higher levels of power exist! I knew it, I just knew that there was more, once I get out of here I can work on obtaining the same powers you have Harry Potter! Just wait, soon I'll catch up to you and make you pay for taking my eye!".

Harry stared at Aizen in silence for a moment until he sighed and shook his eyes, "That's what you got from everything I said... how arrogant, you even believe you'll get out of here someday".

Aizen grinned and then leaned back on his seat, "Soul Society will eventually need me, there's a big threat out there, something not even the Captain-Commander will be able to fight against, I will be needed, they have no other choice".

Soi Fon frowned worried about what Aizen just said, after all, even if the bastard was being too cocky, Soi Fon knew that whatever he just said was to be taken seriously, so now she was very worried about what Aizen meant by Soul Society needing his help for some kind of big threat

Rimuru was surprised about what Aizen just said, {Huh... so he knew about the quincies and Yhwach, he must have been expecting the shinigami to lose badly to them and then come running to him for aid, I don't know if I should be impressed or hate his guts.

Now I understand why Harry hates this guy so much, he's annoyingly prepared, like he's ten steps ahead of you and he smugly lets you know about this fact}.

Harry however, just calmly stared towards Aizen for a few moments, until he suddenly spoke up again, "That won't happen, Soul Society, or rather, the shinigami are going to be signing a treaty with my home.

If they need help in any way, we'll provide it, they won't need to call on you for help, besides, you're not going be living for much longer Aizen".

Aizen huffed and shook his head, "Despite being able to hurt me, I doubt you can kill me, the Hōgyoku will make sure I survive some way or the other, no, I'm afraid I'm here to stay Harry Potter".

Harry smiled and then suddenly poked Aizen in the chest with Oblivion, "So the Hōgyoku is the reason your so cocky... alright, let's fix that then".

Oblivion suddenly began to glow with a sinister black light and Harry soon jabbed Oblivion into Aizen's chest, Aizen gasped in pain and then began to once again howl in pain and flail around in his seat.

His screams only intensified when Harry twisted Oblivion and something that sounded like glass shattering echoed throughout the room, soon enough Harry pulled his dark keyblade out of Aizen's chest causing him to slump on his seat and try to regain his breath.

Harry just coldly looked down on as the traitor to Soul Society began to struggle to breathe as he felt that something was going horribly wrong with his body, "W-what... what did you do to me!".

Harry lets go of Oblivion and the dark keyblade disappears in a flash of black light, after that, Harry begins to speak, "I destroyed the Hōgyoku, I cut off your bond with it and just blasted it with darkness within your body".

Rimuru was surprised upon hearing what Harry did, he wondered why Harry would destroy something that seemed so useful, though he was aware that Harty must have had his reason for doing so as well, still, he could not help but wonder about those reasons, Soi Fon was shocked, the fact that Harry was able to destroy something like the Hōgyoku so easily was disturbing to her.

Aizen looked up towards Harry while struggling to breathe, despite not being able to see any more he was still able to somehow know where Harry was standing, "H-how?... Why?...".

Harry shrugged and then began to speak, "Why? Well, Kisuke asked me to destroy the Hōgyoku, he was never happy that he created such a thing and only regretted the pain and chaos it caused later on, it grated on his nerves and mind that someone like you still had possession of it somehow.

As to how, well, as you know, we initially thought that the Hōgyoku solely possessed the power to control the boundary of the two contradicting existences, that of shinigami and hollows for example, but that was incorrect.

Rather, the Hōgyoku's true power is the ability to absorb the desires of those around it and manifest them into reality... it was truly something too dangerous to exist, to this day I wonder why would Kisuke create such a thing, but well, I guess he was going through his crazy rebellious age.

Either way, the Hōgyoku is an artifact that can manipulate reality, but I gained a domain over reality itself, something that far superseded the Hōgyoku's ability to do so.

I just overpowered it with my on power over reality and destroyed it, simple as that, but you really should worry more about what's happening to you right now, without the Hōgyoku there to balance your power and the transformations on your soul, your body has begun to deteriorate and break down.

After that, your soul will be next, you're ceasing to exist Aizen and it would be a very painful process, but honestly? You do deserve every second of pain you're about to feel, enjoy your end, I certainly will".

As if Harry's words somehow triggered the event, Aizen's body began to quickly breakdown, Aizen immediately began to scream in agonizing pain until his very soul also began to crack and turn into dust, the pain was so much that Aizen suddenly became catatonic in an instant.

The last thing he thought, was to ask himself, just how everything had changed so fast for him, regret was the last thing Aizen felt, as he regretted not having considered Harry a threat and thinking that he wouldn't amount to anything, much less cause problems for him in the future.

So ends the life and existence of Aizen, a charismatic and frighteningly intelligent man who sought to surpass even the Soul King and failed to do so because he underestimated Harry, like many, in his last moments he learned to regret doing so.

~A few moments later~

Soi Fon walked Harry and Rimuru out of the Maggot's Nest, though she had been quiet while Harry spoke to Rimuru about what they would be doing next, "So Harry, Aizen is now dead, well you practically destroyed his existence but what's next, are you still going to go finish the last part of the quest?".

Harry lifted the water bottle he had Rimuru in to his face and discreetly gazed towards Soi Fon, who thankfully seemed too distracted at the moment, "Yeah, I rather finish this soon, I just need to sense where to go first, I'll do it when we get back to Soul Society".

Rimuru, who was still liquid, nodded with his eyes, which made Harry chuckle, it certainly looked funny to him but that only earned him a glare from Rimuru, who did not like the fact that Harry was laughing at him.

Soi Fon snapped out of her thoughts and looked over to Harry, "... That was very satisfying, but what exactly happened to Aizen?".

Harry looked over to Soi Fon and then explained, "The Hōgyoku had been altering Aizen all this time, all according to his desires, being imprisoned did not hinder his plans at all.

I'm afraid that everything he said would happen at some point, more than likely he was just waiting and relaxing while things happened outside of the Maggot's Nest, more than likely Soul Society would have ended up in big trouble and it would have been forced to ask for his aid, of course they would have tried to control Aizen somehow.

Use seals or a Hado of some kind, but in the end, as long as Aizen possessed the Hōgyoku, he would have obtained what he desired, but it was also his weakness, Aizen had been altered beyond a mortal, but the Hōgyoku was the only thing keeping his body and soul stable.

He didn't earn that power, he didn't allow his body and soul to adapt to it, take it from someone who has evolved past all reason, what he had become was something that he could no longer control.

Without the Hōgyoku his body and soul immediately began to break down, it's a painful experience but it is something he brought upon himself, he took shortcuts for that kind of power and that always comes back to bite you in the ass.

In the end, he couldn't control nor sustain all of that power so he destroyed himself, literally ending his existence, I doubt even an energy speck of his soul remains, and I'm sure Death will be disappointed for not being able to have his soul, but oh well I really couldn't do anything about it nor wanted to".

Death was indeed pouting as she watched Harry walk back towards Soul Society, Lily had been watching her and had to fight a giggle from coming out, Death might be a primordial deity, a being old as time, but when it comes to Harry and the things she desires, she tends to sulk when things don't go her way.

Though with Harry, Lily knew that Death was rarely disappointed, after all, her son always did his best to do what was asked of him and grant whatever Death desired, he really did love her that much.

Still, Death was definitely disappointed that Aizen's soul had been utterly destroyed, nothing of him was left and Death wanted to have his soul and make it pay for everything Aizen had done during the Winter War, especially when he beat Harry to the ground when he fought against him trying to hold Aizen back till Ichigo came to help.

Death never forgave nor forgot what Aizen put her son through, it really made Lily happy to see how much Death cares for her son, so to try to cheer up Death, Lily began to pat her head which helped, Death was very weak to physically affection after all.

~Some time later~

Harry, Rimuru, and Soi Fon made it back to Soul Society rather quickly, Soi Fon immediately left to report Aizen's death and to speak to Yamamoto about what Aizen had said, though Harry knew that Yamamoto was aware of the threat that Aizen mentioned, he still let Soi Fon leave to report.

Despite Yamamoto not having to worry about Yhwach anymore, it was still a good idea to let him know that Aizen was somehow aware of Yhwach, which in itself raised some red flags even though Aizen was now dead.

Rimuru, who had finally recovered from having his body melted by hell sea salt, stood beside Harry and looked up towards the sky of Soul Society, "So, how are we getting to this Zero Squad's location?".

Harry closed his eyes and then said, "I'll just sense them out, I'm sure they're in a parallel dimension like Yhwach was, otherwise I would have been able to sense them while I was here before.

I'm sure they're hiding their location for a reason but that shouldn't prevent me from finding them now that I'm aware of them".

Rimuru nodded and then looked over toward Harry, "Think they'll try to stop you from getting rid of the Soul King?".

Harry opened his eyes and shrugged, "I honestly don't know, Yamamoto just told me that they wanted to talk, about what? I'm not sure but that tells me that they're aware of me or rather, they have known about me for a long time now".

Rimuru frowned and then asked, "Think they know about you being the Master Of Death?".

Harry nodded, "To some extent, Yamamoto knew or at least suspected that I had a connection with Death, the Zero Squad is on a high level of power here, so they have far more information available to them.

Plus, I'm sure they're aware of the true nature of this world I can't imagine that they were somehow or in some way informed by the Soul King or that they saw the event itself".

Rimuru nodded and then sighed, "I hope they don't try to cause any trouble or do anything stupid, you know how people react towards those with power...".

Harry nodded and then looked down, Rimuru perfectly knew about the consequences that having power brings, after all, Falmouth attacked Tempest because they were growing both politically and power-wise to quickly.

Harry has never forgotten how so many friends had died the day Falmouth attacked and with him unable to bring them back to life thanks to the world system holding him back and the nature of a monster's soul, it had left Harry rather disappointed in himself.

But right now, that wasn't important, Rimuru brought everyone back to life and Falmouth had been punished by Tempest for their attack, Harry himself had killed thousands of the church and Falmouth's soldiers that day.

But pushing those memories aside, Harry closed his eyes and began to extend his senses to find the Zero Squad and finish Death's latest quest.
