CHAPTER 25 Mystery of Heart

An errand boy came to Gerald, who was closing his book.

"Find out who brought Lisa's father as an offering at the big supper, and don't forget to ask him, who was behind this all," said Gerald in a low voice.

The young man left after nodding his head.

Gerald rose from his seat and intended to return to his room.

While in her room, Lisa was pacing back and forth because she was confused and upset.

Peter's question about whether Lisa will be Gerald's slave forever bothers Lisa. She began to think about what would happen when her father recovered from the transition era.

She felt that the vampire world was not a place for her. She couldn't be here forever.

When Gerald returned to his room, Lisa also tried to ask the man's permission.

Lisa's little heart said that there was hidden goodness in Gerald. Moreover, after saving her father, Lisa was increasingly sure that Gerald would want to help her.

"My master, may I ask you something?" said Lisa.
