Gerald met the king as requested. The old man sat on the throne with his finger flicked on the chair. The man knew that his son would face him. A smile appeared on the king's face as Gerald entered the place.
"My son, Gerald ..." said the king, greeting.
Gerald knelt down as a form of respect for the king.
"Your Majesty, what made the king summon a servant?" asked Gerald.
The king replied, "Should there be a problem for a father to summon his son?"
The king's question made Gerald feel bad. His father didn't usually act like that.
"I just feel that once in a while, I need to embrace you as my son, not just a prince," said the king.
Gerald replied, "Are you going to talk about the title "crown prince"?"
