CHAPTER 160 Hard to Forget

All the moments that Lisa had spent with Gerald became beautiful memories that made both of them live their lives with a limp. Lisa walked to her apartment balcony.

She was wearing a white dress with soft cloth. She could see the city from a height. It reminded her of a castle where she could see the forest of Dysis from Gerald's bedroom balcony. Tonight, she could see the light from the twinkling city lights, racing with the stars in the twinkling sky too.

The crescent moon accompanies the stars. Lisa's eyes suddenly fell. She remembered how she lived in the Vampire royal castle.

Ethan looks like he's not coming home tonight because of his work. Lisa stood alone, lost in thought.

Tears fell without her knowing. She did not know what happened to Gerald but she was sure that Gerald did not survive the war. There was a suffocating feeling of guilt within her that she had left the battlefield. She shouldn't have left Gerald alone.
