Waleed bin Abdul Malik declare war

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and Zubair entered the Qasr of the Caliphate after performing Asr prayer in the Jamia Masjid of Damascus. Caliph Walid's gatekeeper called him in as soon as he was informed of his arrival.

Waleed bin Abdul Malik looked at both of them one after the other from head to toe and asked,

"Which of you is Muhammad ibn al-Qasim?" "

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied, "I am."

The court attendants, whose eyes had been fixed on Zubair, turned in surprise to Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, and their silent gazes began to whisper among themselves. From the previous letter of Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, Waleed had come to know that Muhammad ibn al-Qasim was very young, but despite this, he, like the courtiers, considered Zubair to be the gifted nephew of Hajjaj ibn Yusuf. And the leader of the army of Qutiba was not ready to accept the sixteen-year-old youth. With the gesture of the eyes, the tongues of the courtiers also began to move, and Walid, suddenly sensing that something was being said about Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, the greatest benefactor of his family, rose from shook hands with Muhammad and Zubair and He said sitting them close to him.

The boy about whom an anthropologist like Hajjaj ibn Yusuf and a general like Qutiba bin Muslim have such a high opinion!

It is definitely respectable for me.

Then he addressed Muhammad bin Qasim and asked "

And you have an older brother? ".

No Amir-ul -Momineen, this is Zubair?

Waleed looked carefully at Zubair and said,

"I may have seen you before."

Perhaps you went with the envoy of Sarandeep.

When did you come and where are those children?

"Like the Caliph, the attention of the courtiers also focused on Zubair and some recognized him."

Keeping Zubair's hesitation,

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim quickly presented the letter of Hajjaj bin Yusuf and said, "Amir-ul -Momineen!"

We have come with a very important message. Please see.

Waleed opened the letter and after thinking for a while addressed the audience and said, The king of Sindh has robbed our ship. Widows and orphans from Sarandeep have been imprisoned.

Zubair narrated all the events from the beginning to the end, but instead of excitement in the court, his voice became depressed at the end and he took out a handkerchief from his pocket and presented it to the Caliph.

They said, "Abul Hasan's daughter wrote this letter in the name of chief of Basra."

Like Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, Waleed was greatly affected by reading this letter. He tried to read the letter aloud a second time to the courtiers, but after reading a few sentences his voice stopped.

He gave the letter in the hands of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and said, "Read and recite it!" Muhammad ibn al-Qasim read these words.

"I am sure that the governor of Basra would have ordered the brave soldiers of his army to put saddles on the horses after hearing the plight of the Muslim children and women from the mouth of the messenger, and there will be no need to show this letter to the messenger." If Hajjaj ibn Yusuf's blood has frozen, then my speech may prove futile. I am the daughter of Abul Hasan. My brother and I are still safe from the enemy's reach. But our comrades are in the captivity of an enemy whose heart has no place for mercy. Imagine this dark view of the prison. In which the ears of the captives are restless to hear the hoofs of the solider of Islam.

It was a miracle that my brother and I survived the captivity of the enemy. But our search continues and we too may be thrown into a dark cell. It is possible that my wound will put me to the sleep of death before that and I will be saved from a terrible end, but when I die I will regret that those fast horses whose riders are knocking at the doors of Turkistan and Africa. He could not reach the help of the orphans and helpless children of his nation.

Is it possible that the sword that fell on the head of the proud crown princes of Rome and Iran as lightning?

It will prove blunt in front of the proud king of Sindh. I am not afraid of death.

Oh pilgrims! If you are alive, reach out to help the orphans and widows of your brave nation!!

Naheed,

Helpless daughter of a nation!

The color of the assembly has changed. The faces of most of those present were showing that the storm of emotions had overwhelmed the interests of reason, but seeing Waleed silent, everyone was speechless.

The elderly judge of the city could not bear this silence for a long time.

He said,

Commander of the Faithful!

What are you waiting for now?

This is not an opportunity to think. The water has gone over the head.

Waleed asked,

"What is your opinion."

The judge replied.

Commander of the Faithful!

Opinions are not used in matters of duty. Opinion can work only when there are two ways in front of us, but there is only one way in front of us.

Caliph Waleed said, I ask your opinion.

"None of us knows how to walk upside down," said an official.

Caliph Waleed said, but where do we have the forces?

A message has come from Musa that he wants to attack Andalus.

On the other hand, Qitaba does not consider all the forces of Iraq in Turkistan to be enough for us to open a new front, we will either have to weaken one of them or wait for some more time.

The judge replied.

Commander of the Faithful!

After hearing this letter, none of us would suggest waiting. If you bring this matter before the people,I hope it will not be necessary to call for extradition from Turkistan or Africa for the Sindh campaign.

Caliph Waleed said, "If you are ready to take the responsibility of motivating the people for war"

So I am also ready to declare War.

Qazi started looking at his colleagues in confusion.

Caliph Waleed said. I am not disappointed with the people.

My only complaint is that our,The class has become selfish and selfish.

You know that when Musa bin Nasir advanced in Africa, many men of the upper class opposed us.

It is our misfortune that the people who are sincere in the influential class are lazy and easy-going and consider their good prayers enough for Islam to dominate the earth while sitting at home. If you all try to reach out to the people, an army can be prepared in a few days that is enough to conquer not only Sindh but the whole world, but don't feel bad, you have been influenced for a while. And for a day or two they will feel a pleasure in congratulating the people, but also the idle people of the higher classes like themselves, and will curse the tyrannical

King (Raja)of Sindh.

And after that, like the children of Israel, they will put the burden of the world and the hereafter on God's head and sit comfortably, but if you dare, I assure you that humanity is still alive.

If you and the children go to every house in Damascus, sit in public and talk to them instead of the entertainment gatherings of the upper class, then the prisoners of Sindh who are standing with their ears against the walls of the prison.

Very soon we will be able to hear the hoof of our horses and may God give life and to this girl, she will see with her own eyes that our swords are not blunted.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said, "If Amir-ul -Momineen gives me permission, I am ready to take this responsibility."

Caliph Waleed said,

"You don't need my permission."

After Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, every official of the court assured Caliph Waleed to recruit a new army and the assembly was dissolved.

After the Isha prayer, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim and Zubair were talking to each other. If an envoy sent word that Amir-ul -Momineen was calling for Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim went with the soldier and Zubair, lying on his bed and waiting for him for some time, was lost in the beautiful valley of drowsy dreams.

Far away he was wandering in the cities of Sindh in search of Naheed.

He was breaking the doors of the prisons of the forts.

He was untying the shackles of the prisoners. Naheed's black and shiny eyes were asking tears.

Naheed! I've arrived.

You are free,How is your wound?

Look, our flag is flying on the fort of Brahmanabad.

And she was saying Zubair I am good but you came late, I was disappointed.

The continuity of the sweet and beautiful dream was broken. He was seeing that he was chained in a state of extreme helplessness.

A few soldiers of the King (Raja) are standing around him with bare swords and the rest are holding Naheed and leading him to the prison, and she turns and looks at him with mischievous eyes.

As soon as Naheed puts his feet inside, the door of the prison is closed and after a hard struggle, he breaks the chains on his hands and feet, pushing, hitting and knocking down the soldiers, reaches the door of the prison and struggles to open it.

Zubair Naheed! Naheed! Saying this, open your eyes and see Muhammad ibn al-Qasim standing in front of you, then close them. He had heard from Muhammad ibn al-Qasim that he was clapping his hands and feet while dreaming and calling Naheed's name. However, he did not consider it appropriate to make it a topic of conversation and secretly sat on his bed.

After a while,Zubair opened his eyes again and said.

"You came?"

Muhammad answered yes!

I have come and after thinking about something,I asked how are you in javelin and swordsmanship?

Zubair replied. My favorite toy as a child was a bow.And when he was able to put his foot in the horse's stirrup.

I loved nothing more than a spear.

Asking an Arab about the sword whether you know its use or not?

It is equivalent to doubting his being an Arab.

You believe!

My training did not take place in a different environment than yours.

Muhammad said,

"Tomorrow is your and mine's exam.

That's why Amir-ul -Momineen called me.

"He wants us both to participate in the martial arts exhibition."

If we prevail over others in the competition, it will have a great effect on the people of Damascus and we will get an opportunity to preach for war.

Zubair said, Amir-ul -Momineen opinion is correct.

God has created this good opportunity for us but I think it is important to tell you that you should not misjudge Saleh and Sulaiman. It was a coincidence that he was defeated by you along the way.

Both of them do not have their own example in javelin. But I'm ready.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim said.

Zubair,We do not want to be great. We will participate in the exhibition for a good cause God will surely help us. Amir-ul -Momineen has said that he will give us his best horses."
