A letter to Muhammad ibn Haroon

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim climbed the wall and gazed into the distance.

Thousands of Sindh infantry and cavalry from the south and east.

The soldiers were heading towards the fort. Muhammad ordered ten of his soldiers to ride on horses and convey the message to his deputy that he should reach the place before evening. When the soldiers got on their horses, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim instructed them to go round from the west side to escape from the attacking army and then turn to their destination. The soldiers galloped their horses out of the fort. The attackers were close. Muhammad ordered the gate of the fort to be closed and again climbed the wall and circled and urged the archers to be careful.

At one corner of the wall, Khalid and his companions were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the attackers.

Seeing Naheed and Zahra between them, Muhammad said. Khalid! Take them down. They are not needed here."

Naheed replied, "Don't worry about us. We know how to shoot arrows.

As you wish, but keep your head down, Muhammad said and went ahead.

Bheem Singh's soldiers left the horses behind the mounds and besieged the fort from all sides and started showering arrows on the fort by building fronts of rocks and stones. The arrows of the attackers proved to be ineffective for those sitting in the fronts of the fort wall.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim ordered his soldiers to use arrows only to stop the enemy's invasion of the fort. Bheem Singh, not receiving any response from the arrows of his army, raised the slogan of praise of King (Raja)Dahir and the archer army, hiding under the cover of rocks and stones, stormed the fort from all sides.

When this army was hit by the arrows of the defenders of the fort, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim raised a slogan. This slogan had not been raised when arrows started raining from the fort and Bheem Singh's soldiers started falling wounded, but the twenty thousand army few. Disregarding the loss of the soldiers, she reached the wall of the fort and started trying to climb the fort by placing the ropes, but she succumbed to the barrage of arrows. After a while Bheem Singh's nearly 2,000 men were huddled around the walls of the fort and he had to order the army to retreat. At that time of day Bheem Singh was preparing for a attack that he was driven back. The arrival of the rest of Muhammad ibn al- Qasim's army was reported.

He ordered the horsemen to fall back and take charge of their horses and posted the archers of the infantry on the hills of this palace. Seeing the movement of the enemy, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim was convinced that the enemy had received the information about the arrival of Muhammad ibn Haroon. He hastily made a map on paper and wrote some instructions to Muhammad ibn Haroon, looking at his soldier. "It is necessary to reach this letter before Muhammad Bin Haroon reaches here, but the importance of this work is so dangerous that the enemy's attention has been diverted."

From the north, the enemy's fronts are almost empty and we can get men off the wall, but still he will have to face many dangers to reach Muhammad ibn Haroon.

Volunteers for this campaign..!

Khalid did not let Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's sentence be fulfilled and said,

"Give me permission."

Many soldiers opposed Khalid and submitted their names.

Saad said, I have heard that Muslims do not reject the wishes of their non-Muslim brothers. you allow me No one will suspect me from my dress and I am also familiar with the ins and outs of this land.

Muhammad bin Qasim saw his army dismounting from a mound two or three miles behind the enemy's army. He gave the letter in Saad's hand and said, "Go, may God help you."

Saad ran to the north wall and went down through a passage.
