Justice for girl

Five days had passed since the siege of Dabil. Meanwhile, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's army tried to scale the city wall but failed.

When the wooden barracks approached the city shelter, the King (Raja)'s soldiers would pour burning oil on them and chase the Muslims back in flames. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim had brought with him a huge catapult which was pulled by five hundred men.

The name of this machine "Aros" had become famous, considering the steepness of the mountain road, Aros was brought near the edge of the sea and landed on land, and on the fifth day of the siege, the soldiers of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim pushed it and took refuge in the city.

Before that, the small catapults had weakened the wall of the city in a few places.

The soldiers of the city had guessed the importance of Aros from its unusual size. Before evening, a few heavy stones were hurled into the city from Aros, and the Raja realized that the strong fortifications of Dabil would not be able to stand long against this formidable weapon.

On the sixth day early at morning,

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim started pelting stones on the city with the help of Aros.

In the middle of the city, a red flag was flying on the high temple. Like the tomb of the temple, this flag was also higher than all the flags. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim realized the importance of this flag and according to one tradition, persecuted by the governor of Dabil fled the city and informed Muhammad ibn al-Qasim that the people of the city would not give up until this flag fell.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim had exceptional skill in using the gun. So he fixed the Aros and ordered the soldiers to throw stones. The impact of the heavy stone blew the pieces of the tomb and with it the red flag also came back. The destruction of this tomb and the fall of the flag demoralized the King (Raja)'s soldiers.

However, they did not allow the Muslim army to explode near the fort until Syria. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim ordered a decisive attack and his soldiers climbed the walls of the fort with the help of ladders and sticks, chanting Allahu Akbar.

The King (Raja)'s army fought till three o'clock in the night, but by this time, hundreds of soldiers of the Muslim army had climbed the ramparts and thanks to the turn of the gun, the wall of the fort had also broken at one point. As soon as King( Raja) Dahir realized the delicate situation, he opened the eastern gate of the city and cleared the way for the army with the help of elephants.

The elephants advanced in front of the eastern gate, breaking their lines, and behind them came the thirty thousand army of the King ( Raja). Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's army surrounded the gate and attacked the gate and formed a strong line in the way of the remaining soldiers.

Fearing their own fate more than the King (Raja)'s love, they made a few vigorous attacks to clear the way out, but the Muslims piled up dead bodies in front of the door. They retreated and the Muslim army entered the city like a great flood of water. The remaining army of the King ( Raja) surrendered after hearing the slogans of Allahu Akbar from all sides.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim with his army offered morning prayers in the palace of the governor of Dabil and at sunrise the terrified inhabitants of Dabil stood on their roofs watching the procession of the seventeen-year-old general of the conquering forces.

After the victory of the fort, Muhammad ibn al-Qasim freed the captives of war and bandaged the wounded, who had given the message to the people of the arrival of a new god in India. Stories about his youthful bravery, forgiveness and mercy had become famous, the authenticity of which was not ready to be believed by the oppressed people of the despotic government. In the last few days, the soldiers of the King(Raja)'s army had severely tortured the citizens of Dabil.

After the arrival of the King (Raja)'s troops in Dabil, their houses were not their own.

The soldiers used to enter people's houses at night in a drunken state and leave after looting.

Seeing the behavior of their king's army, the inhabitants of Dabil, despite hearing many stories about Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's pardon and mercy, were not ready to expect good behavior from the victorious army, but when Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's army looked down like their leader.

As she was passing through a market in Dabil, her suspicions gradually disappeared and besides the men, women also stood on the roofs of the houses when Muhammad ibn al-Qasim again approached the palace after circling the city. A young girl ran and grabbed the bridle of his horse and started looking at Muhammad ibn al-Qasim with her lips pursed.

His hair was disheveled. The beautiful face was scarred and the eyes were red with anger. To Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, she looked like a rose that had been plucked by someone's careless hands. He said through the interpreter,

Lady! If this is the act of one of my soldiers, I will kill him before your eyes.

The girl shook her head in the negative, her lips trembled and tears flowed from her eyes. An old and handsome man stepped forward and folded his hands and said, This is one of the many oppressed girls who have fallen victim to the brutality of the King (Raja)'s soldiers.

She comes to ask for justice from you?"

Nasirudin interpreted this elderly person as Muhammad ibn al-Qasim.

It was told that this is the system of Dabil. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied,

"Don't tie your hands in front of me, this girl is my first duty."

Twelve thousand soldiers of the King (Raja) are in our custody, you should take them there.

If the culprit happens to be one of them, I will hand him over to you.

Otherwise I will pursue him to the end of this country.

The girl said, "My culprit is the governor of Dabil."

He had imprisoned my father the day before yesterday and I even heard his voice filled with tears again.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim called one of his solider and said. I order the release of all the prisoners of Dabil. You open the prison doors.
