Prisoner of Sulaiman

In the morning there was no room at the gate of the palace. When Muhammad ibn al-Qasim came out of the door, the crowd gathered around and emptied seats in front of the door. The dignitaries of the army and the priests of the city came forward and shook hands with the cross. When it came to Bheem Singh's turn, he clung to Muhammad ibn al-Qasim helplessly.

He said, you did not suggest my Islamic name. Muhammad ibn al-Qasim replied.

"If you like, I will name you Saifuddin."

At the bottom of the stairs stood a soldier with a horse.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim got down and started to ride the horse, Yazid bin Abu Kabsha ran away and took hold of the garden. Despite Muhammad ibn al-Qasim's protest, people ran away and touched his feet like crazy.

Muhammad ibn al-Qasim mounted his horse and looked around. He did not see any eye without tears. The old people were feeling that their dearest son was leaving them. Widows and orphans were feeling that nature was taking away their great support. Young girls were saying that their chastity is being guarded. Regret was raining on the wall of Arur.

At her father's behest, the young daughter of the city priest stepped forward and offered Muhammad ibn al-Qasim a garland of flowers, saying,

"My bro !

I present this gift to you on behalf of Arur" Muhammad ibn al-Qasim accepted while looking at him with benevolent eyes.

The horse of the prisoner of Sulaiman bin Abdul Malik came out from the markets of Dabil trampling the piles of flowers. There were never so many tears shed on the parting of a loved one. Those hands who two years ago welcomed the conqueror of Sindh as their worst enemy with arrows and spears. They were now showering flowers.

Ali, Khalid, Naheed and Zahra had already reached outside the city with a few soldiers accompanying Muhammad ibn al-Qasim.

This caravan consisted of sixty souls.

Forty of them were the soldiers who accompanied Yazid bin Abu Kabsha to send Muhammad ibn al-Qasim to Damascus.

Malik bin Yusuf was appointed commander on Salih's recommendation. Malik bin Yusuf was instructed by Salih not to make any concessions to Muhammad ibn al-Qasim on the way. Malik himself was an old enemy of the family of Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, but on reaching Arur, he could not remain without being influenced by the personality of Muhammad ibn al-Qasim, just like Yazid bin Abu Kabsha

No meeting in life is in vain...

Every person you meet...

Is either your test...

Or your punishment...

Or your heavenly gift.... ..!!!

Malik bin Yusuf came to know that Muhammad ibn al-Qasim is a gift to humanity in this world.

Some of his companions were also so affected by the scene of his departure from Arur that they openly objected to the wrong orders of Sulaiman.

In afternoon, Saifuddin (Bheem Singh) was standing on a mound with the priest of Arur, watching a caravan sneak around the cordon. Priest took a cold breath and said,

"The sun of Sindh is setting at two o'clock?"
