Chapter-26 A news of Izzy's parents...

Eva and Lara returned back to their rooms. Eva was disturbed thinking about Izzy's parents. She wrote down every thing to Era including, about secret wife of David sir so that she can help him if he needs any , as Eva... and wore the coat, Era came back and read the letter , she was shocked to know David sir is married now, and felt sad , she admired him a lot back then . But was sad to know that his wife was in coma. She thought, ' I don't even have a body of my own, what could I expect...any ways my admiration was mine, he had nothing to do with it .He didn't feel anything for me,.... so he may have forgotten about me, ...that ...is also good to know .....he has love of his life now ...I wish him luck ... I wish his wife a good health and a happy life.' 😒😔... She was sad , but she didn't wrote Eva about this because she don't want her to be sad and removed the coat. Eva searched for Era's letter but there wasn't any, she was surprised because she didn't expect that David sir's favourite student will not respond about his marriage, so she started doubting🧐🤨 that something is going on, either she knows about the marriage or she is in love with him and is sad now 💔.. Eva was busy concluding it ,but then suddenly her phone rang, it was an unidentified number, she lifted it , " hello ma'am it's me , the police officer, you met an hour ago, " Eva recognised him "yes ,... did you find anything?" she asked excitedly . He continued "hmm as you said I checked all hospitals near by , but I couldn't find any clue , all those victims that were brought yesterday, I checked their identities personally but now it's only one place left.... " he stopped talking.. Eva eagerly asked "which place ..? " He hesitated a little and said " ma'am it's the mortuary , actually, according to the list there were seven deaths and all the seven dead bodies were brought to your hospital. I got the list of the passengers, and some photos to identify and I am on my way to the hospital, you can join me if you want " ... on hearing this Eva was divastated. She was not in her senses for a while , The police officer hung up the phone. Eva got ready and went running back to the hospital. The police officer was already there, he waved at Eva and both of them went inside. There were so many people near the mortuary, the police man gave the list to the care taker and the care taker checked their identities and pointed his finger towards the corner of the mortuary. The police man showed the photos to her and they both went there for identification, Eva thought that it was a mortuary, and the bodies are cleaned before keeping in, so she went there without any hesitation. But those were brought recently so they were filled with blood.. and the moment she saw blood, she felt dizzy and a buzzing sound keeps ringing in her ears , she said to the police man "Sir , I am not feeling well , please tell me if you find anything , I'll be waiting outside". She went out with trembled steps, one of her colleague was there for some work, he saw Eva having some trouble and came to her. He gave her water and make her sit on the bench there . She thanked him and said that she was fine now. He went back to his work . The police man came back identifying two of the bodies to be Izzy's parents, and said that to Eva . She was now worried about how to face Izzy, and how to tell her that her parents will not come to her anymore. 😢😓.The police officer completed the formalities and left . Eva sat with her head down 😖😞for a while before going to Izzy. After taking some time to gather all her strength, she went to Izzy's room with a heavy heart . When she reached there every thing was in chaos, everybody was rushing, running here and there. She was in a complete shock, and went inside slowly, Izzy was not there , she asked a nurse, " where is the girl who was in this room?", the nurse answered, " she fainted just now and something was wrong with her, she is now in the CT scan room ". Eva rushed there and saw , Izzy was taken in , they were checking the monitors , as it was a code blue all the departments were informed. Eva couldn't take it anymore. She went back to her room , wrote everything to Era and changed into her scrubs and wore the coat. Era found the letter in her hand and rushed to the hospital. Izzy was stable now and brought back to her room. A meeting was held and all the experts were invited to discuss Izzy's condition. Izzy had a weak heart and during the accident she got a head injury, which caused hemorrhage , if not operated immediately, she will not make it till morning. They all discussed it for three hours, the best surgeons team was set , Jerry willingly came forward to monitor her heart condition during the surgery , Ben and chief neurologist Doctor Thomas were the main surgeons. The surgery was scheduled to be held on the next day morning , every one was concerned about Izzy out of sympathy. All the charges were taken care by the hospital authority. It was going to be a very critical surgery ,and if something goes wrong with her heart during the surgery, they had to open her up with in minutes. So David and his team were also prepared as stand by.

Everybody dispersed . Era went to Izzy's room and saw David was sitting there holding Izzy's hand. She remembered about his marriage, and couldn't face him, so she went back to her room. She thought that David will inform her about the surgery but David did not add her name in the list. He really wanted her to be his assistant but he saw Eva was mentally attached to Izzy so he didn't add her.

Era wrote everything for Eva and removed her coat. Eva read that and went to stay with Izzy. When Eva got there, David was already gone . Eva sat beside Izzy for whole night, Ben came to check on Izzy in the middle of night and saw Eva , sleeping on the chair , he carried her to the sofa near by .

No one from the team were able to sleep. It was like an examination for all of them .

The next day morning Eva found herself sleeping on the sofa , she checked on Izzy, she was doing fine . The nurse came to do the preoperative procedure. Eva went to her room to fresh up. Every body gathered at the OR, but Eva could not . Jerry was ready with his work and Ben started the surgery, every body was able to see the surgery on the monitors present in several rooms . It took five hours for the surgery to be completed . And finally the surgery went well without any complications. Izzy was shifted to the ICU , for recovery. Ben looked for Eva but couldn't find her, so he called her. Eva was tensed about , what she will say to Izzy about her parents. when she received Ben's call she started crying 😭😓 with out talking. Ben understood that her tension is exploded🤯 now. He waited until she was done and then gave her the news that Izzy is doing well. Eva felt so happy , and thanked Ben for informing her. 🤗🤗It was a very emotional part of Eva's life. She went to Izzy and was very happy to see her recovering so fast . She was still unconscious and under observation, but overall she was doing fine. Eva thought it was a very stressful day but the next day will be fine, ..... here her hopes gone again . She got a call from Steve, " Hey Eva are you ready for the blind date???"said Steve. Eva was furious and said "🤯😤😠 Do you know what I have been through ? finally I thought I can sleep 😴😴 but blind date...!! no way ... better luck next time 🤫🤫....
