Chapter-34 David's secret bride.....

David and Eva came back to the hospital. Eva was going back to her room but David stopped her,

he said,

" you want to know the truth right.., ...come with me",

Eva's mood was already off,

she said ,

" I am tired now , I don't want to listen to any of your truths just leave me alone," ...

he looked at her fiercely and grabbed her hand and said ,

" you have to , it's not a request, its an order, just follow me silently",

he took her inside the hospital, it was evening time and everybody were busy with there works.

They saw David holding Eva's hand and taking her furiously, Eva tried to free her hand but David was so angry to notice anything.

So she had no choice but to follow him. He took her to the VIP ward, they went inside, he went straight to the last room, and pulled her along, and he freed her hand and asked ,

"Do you know who she is ?",

She said coldly,

" your wife, who else" , ...

he continued

"yes, my wife whom I never wedded, .. my love whom I never confessed... the only girl I'll love for my whole life, and that's Era ",

She was shocked to hear that...and trembled for a second, and said

" Era..!! she's alive , ....I can't believe this ...so she's alive..!!"

Eva was so happy that she couldn't control herself and started crying, , she asked him,

"From when is she here, where did you find her , in the mortuary?, why is she here.... in this state?,"

he sat on the sofa, and said,

" On that day Era was busy studying for her exam , she went to her room early to get prepared, even I don't know what happened after that , around mid night, I got a call from the caretaker ,to enquire about Era, she asked me if I called Era for any emergency, ...but.. I didn't , ....when I asked that lady , she told me that Era is missing ,I was shocked and was worried about her , so I went near the hostel area to take a look , she had an exam next day ,based on her personality, she would never go anywhere at that time , so I went to take a look around, when I was in front of her room, I heard some noise from the mortuary, and felt something was wrong, I went there , and found Era with a plastic bag tied on her face, I rushed to her and checked her....but it was already late ",

.....he sighed....then continued.....,

"someone tried to choke her to death, but fortunately she was still breathing, I brought her back to hospital, and informed the authority, ....but ...Due to lack of oxygen supply to the brain for a long time, she went in coma,"

he was so emotional, and sad Eva noticed a tear falling from his eye,.....he continued..

." She had no family, no guardian , so I signed as her husband ,and kept it a secret by the help of the authorities, to keep her safe , we don't know who did that",

Eva was listening to him very curiously, and asked,

" who could it be, just for jealousy no body would take the risk to kill someone. But atleast it's good that she is alive.."

he continued

" but I can't understand, one thing, other than the stories you heard, did you know her?",

She looked at him and nodded her head saying no and said,

" I don't remember we met before, not even once"

He said,

" so you never met her, niether seen her,.... not even once , and so you were unable to recognise her that day but, how are you both connected? ",

Eva was still surprised,

she said,

" I don't know about the past before , but now I am connected to her , the pain she's been through I can feel it , I keep getting flashes in my dreams for what she suffered back then, though those were not clear but I can feel it",

he thought for a while, and said,

"bring me her coat",

she looked at him and said

" ok, sir"

and went out running to her room. She grabbed the coat and came back and gave it to David.

He took it from her and touched it with affection, and saw the name plate 'ERA FARNANDEZ ' He was immensed in his feeling.

Eva called him, and asked

"sir , Are you fine ?" ,

he was so emotional at that time , after a minute, he said

"ok so you are saying that, whenever you wear this,... you turn into... Era , so does it works for others , did you try it? ".

Eva thought, why it didn't strike me, and said,

" no sir I didn't thought that way".

Now he took the coat and tried to wear it, though it was smaller in size, but he was able to wear it ,

Eva was excitedly waiting ,to talk with Era face to face ,

David wore the coat ,

she eagerly asked

"Era is that you?",

but he said

" Eva...., that's me David",

she kept a frowning face and said "oh" ,

he said,

" that means it didn't work",

he was removing the coat ,

Eva rushed to him and

said,

"sir, ..let me , ....let me help you I won't be able to contact her if something goes wrong with it , so please...",

He stared at her seriously but, she deliberately didn't see him. Eva helped him to remove it. They sat on the sofa and were thinking, David got an idea and so does Eva ,they both looked at Era, at once,

Eva asked,

" Sir, how is Era's condition?, can we give it a try"

she was very excited to do so, because it may help Era, with gaining her consciousness back.

But he was not sure about her health, so he said ,

" she was doing fine but recently she had an attack , and everything was ruined from then, she isn't doing so well, so I am afraid, we should not take the risk"

Eva was dull again, suddenly she said,

"but can we try without disturbing her, let me try"

she went to Era and put the coat on her, but nothing happened, she tried everything could be done without disturbing her , but nothing...no response..., she came back after giving it a try, and they both started thinking again about what could be done.

David asked politely,

" I have a favour to ask",

Eva looked at him, she know what he is going to ask,and said

"well , fine but I have my conditions"

he looked very curious, and asked

" As long as I can meet her I am ok with anything you say, what is it?",

She sighed, and said seriously

"keep your distance, she may be your Era , your love ,but this is my body, and I have my line, no hugging , no touching and especially no kissing, not even on the forehead," .

It was embraceing for both of them, then he remembered about hugging Era that afternoon and started saying ,

" I am sorry for what happened in the afternoon..I was so happy that I couldn't control myself, I won't do it again".

She nodded her head and took the coat and wore it,

Era was back , she was shocked to see herself sitting in front of David sir, she thought,

"what did Eva do? why I am here? and where I am now?",

she noticed its some patients room. She was in her own thoughts,

He said ,

" Era, is that you? "

she was blanked, and don't know what to answer?

"did she tell him about us?" she thought

he asked again,

"Era,.. it is you, I know...that,...come on, say something",

She understood that he knows everything now, she said

"yes sir it's me",

he was so excited that he was about to hug her , but suddenly stopped,

" I can't believe it, ...it's a wonder ...I just wish you can get back soon,"

she was confused ,

" get back soon, what do you mean by that sir , how could I come back to life again, it is just a miracle, that I am here I don't know when I will be vanished from this world," she said .

He stood up and said ,

"that won't happen I won't let it happen again" .

Era was shocked for a while, David understood that ,she didn't know that she is alive, he grabbed her hand and took her to herself, the original Era ,the owner of this soul.

She was aghast...she started crying by seeing herself lying down on the bed with life support. He consoled her and took her back to sit, and said

" I don't have anything to say but we will surely find something to save you ,I won't let you die Era I won't, ... When you were with me I never realised, but when I was losing you, I understood that you are my life, and I love you, I regreted it a lot that I was unable to say this to you but now I won't,"

He was so emotional, but couldn't even hug her .

She was really happy to hear that , she said,

" so the secret wife Eva told ,was me, myself...and I was sad like a foolish.."

he laughed,

"I never thought that, I will confess my feelings to you like this," ....

They were so happy to confess thier feelings....but some puzzles were yet to be solved....
