Chapter- 52 David and Eva getting married?....

Eva's father has a misconception about Eva and David, he called them to announce officially about their engagement.

They both were shocked,

"what....!!??",

they both shouted at once, .. Ben looked at them furiously and went out side, Eva was about to follow him, but David grabbed her hand , smiled at everybody, and ,

" please excuse us, we'll be right back",

he dragged her up stairs to an empty room and asked,

" What the hell is going on, Eva?,what did you tell to your father?.....he said he has something very important to discuss, ....why didn't you tell me that Mr.Fernandez is your father?"

Eva shouted,

" Will you let me talk....?uhhh .. this is a mess for me too, ...I never said a thing, ....Ok fine, now let's go and clear the mess, let me explain everything to my father,"

"but ... wait...what will you say?...." he asked,

" Oh...that's simple, I'll say that I can't marry a robot..." she said that and rushed out of the room,

David furiously looked at her and followed her.

When Eva went down, her father was talking to a aged lady , who was surrounded by so many people, she wondered who were those people, she went straight to her father and said,

"Dad, we need to talk"

but her father pulled her near and said,

" This is Eva, ... aunt, ..she is my daughter, she is the one getting engaged to your grandson,"

Eva was shocked to hear that , they were David's family,

"uhh.... Dad wait there is a ...." she tried saying something, but ...

" it's ok Eva , I know you are nervous, but you don't know ,how happy I am, meet her , she is aunt Alison , you remember I told you, our neighbour back then, she was your grandma's bestfriend, and for me she was just like my mother, I can't believe David is her grandson,"

Eva was speechless, she knows her Dad was always in search of her, but she urge to explain, David came down and saw his family, and was really happy to see his grandmother standing in front of him, his mother rushed to him and said,

"Oh ... David, I can't express how I am feeling now....see your grandma, when she heard you are getting married, she was so happy , and insisted on coming here to see you"....

now it's David's turn to blank out ....his mind was struggling for an answer but his grandma, ...she was bed ridden for three years,..and now she is standing in front of him.

Being a doctor he suggests a patient's family to keep away, stress and tensions from the patient like her, but now he'll give her the greatest blow ....he was out of words.

Eva prepared herself to face this situation, and to tell father the truth, she also called Ben and said ,

" Ben I know you are furious, but it is just a misunderstanding, I know you are outside, come in...let me clear it for you,"

Ben was relaxed a little bit after reading her message, and walked towards the hall where everyone was standing,

Eva finally went near her father to tell everything , she closed her eyes to get some strength, to face him,

"Dad please listen to me, it's not...." , suddenly David rushed from back held her in his arms and said,

" we are really very happy for what you all decided for us, uncle ...we are ready but being engaged in a hurry is not looking good to me, let's plan it grandly , after some time,"

Eva was furious , she turned red out of anger, but couldn't utter a word,

David's grandma pulled her near and said,

" I never thought that ,a beautiful girl like you will choose a weirdo like him, oh I am so happy that I can die now without any regrets", that was an emotional ball, and Eva was clean bold, Grandma took a diamond bracelet from her hands and put it on Eva's hand,

"It's not just a jwellery darling, it's a hallmark that you belong to our family now, if he make things hard for you just tell me , I'll pluck his ears for you, "

she said very happily, but Eva's mind was not in ease, she was still trying to say,

"but...it was ..." all of his family came to meet Era , his mother, hugged her,.. David came near and rolled his hands over her and wishpered in her ears,

" I'll explain everything to you later please ,...act along for now...",

she was furious, but thought that he may have his reasons, and kept silent, there were a pair of eyes, getting red because of anger...Eva saw him and was going to him but David held her hand tightly.

Ben's anger was at its peak now , he went to his car, and started hitting it with his legs, then drove away...

When everything was almost over , she rushed to see Ben but , he was already gone.

David's grandma was really tired but so happy, she suddenly felt dizzy, David asked her mother to take her back to rest , they both left,

David came back and said ,

"Excuse me everyone I have an announcement to make, I am really sorry for the misunderstanding created here , Eva and I are just colleagues and more than that, like friends , but I see her like my little sister who creates troubles, I was left with no other options , but admit that we are a couple because of my grandma , she can't take any rejection,or shock, for now so , as a doctor I had to do this for her,"

Eva was finally relaxed and went to her father to explain everything, her father said,

" oh...so this was all because of me....ok ...that's fine no matter who, but I want you to get married before I..." he stopped ,

"before you..... what... Dad , what was that why did you stop ..." asked Eva curiously.

" That's nothing, .it's fine that you selected Ben, I really liked that guy back then , but you two , don't you dare hurt aunt Alison, ok"

her father said that and went upstairs to take a rest .

Eva sat on the chair and was thinking about, what happened just now,

"uhh... I can't believe, I almost got engaged to a Mr Freak....this time even I was freaked out because of him...."

" even I can't believe, that I was about to get engaged to a troublemaker",

said David standing behind her.

she stared at him, he came near and held her hand, she was surprised and thought,

" is he going to say thank you or sorry,"

but she understood when he started removing the bracelet,

"wait, ...I'll remove it myself, " she said,

he glanced at her and said,

"Thankyou, for supporting me , but I have something to do,I need your help",

" hmm what?"she asked,

" come with me "he said,

All the guests and David's family left, Ben's uncle, Doctor Thomas went up stairs to discuss something with Eva's father,

David was taking Eva , Steve stopped them ,

" hey, are you leaving? just like that, did you tell Dad that you are leaving?"

" I'll be back Steve, "she said,

" Steve,...!! so you are Steve " ,

David looked at Eva

" the one who nags at you, your pet,"

he said mocking at her.

" what ...!,!,pet .!!..Eva ...you are dead now"

said Steve, Eva ran from there and Steve followed her , David called Eva and said,

" Eva, come outside I'll get the car"

Eva ran out and sat in the car, he drove away, on the way she was silent, but David was not used to her silence, he asked,

"What ...?you don't want to know where are we going?"

she replied,

" you won't tell me even if I asked",

" hmm...you improved a lot ...less doubts.... good progress."..

he said

" But sir, what happened yesterday, did you hit that patient," she asked with curiosity,

" uhh... I take it back..., what I just said, you'll always be a question mark," he said.

" I was just wondering how and why, that's it, actually I found it different when I heard that the truck driver is missing, " said Eva.

" Do you think so, I gave it a thought too, I'll tell you everything but not now, it is not the time for that"... while talking, she didn't realised, that they already at some place, it looked familiar, she said ,

" I have been here before...but I can't remember, "

" you have been here?.... when? do you know where are we?" David asked,

" where are we?" she asked...

he get out of his car and said,

" you'll know when you get there, get down,"

she was looking around, he went in and she followed him, and said,

" yes,...this is Ben's house, it was very dark that day so I was unable to recognise...uhh,"

she stopped but , David looked at her and said,

" you guys have so many secrets, " and rang the doorbell,

she shouted, " it's not that, what you are thinking it is"...

He started laughing, she was furious but she was trying to explain...., Ben opened the door and saw them laughing and giggling, and locked the door again....

Eva and David shouted ...

"open the door Ben....".....
