[ Chapter 05 ]

♪♪♪Morning time♪♪♪

Shia goes to her friend, "ready to go to the flower kingdom? " ~ Irene, an ordinary demon-ish girl. asks in excitement.

"Yes let's go. We have to come back before the sun sets"~ princess Shia

They make their way to the flower kingdom where Shia's friend Corpus lives.

" Hey stop what is this?" Shia halts her steps while looking at her friend where she points.

"It's a Portal which connects mortals and the immortal world," Shia says, not too much interested in that Portal because she sees that too many times.

"How do you know that, did you go inside there?" ~ Irene

"No, but Carpus once told me about this " Shia Shrug.

"And how does he know?"~ Irene

" Of course, he lives here so yeah he knows about that"  ~ princess Shia says while continuing to walk further

"Hey wait for me " Her friend soon follows her steps

after sometimes they reach the Flower kingdom, Carpus is already there playing with his other friends.

"Hey Shia, long time no see?" Carpus chirps in a happy tone, surprised by Shia's sudden visit

" Yeah we suddenly planned to visit you, she is my friend Irene" Shia introduces her friend to carpus.

Carpus feels something off about that irene girl but doesn't know what? she smells suspicious.

Carpus forced a smile to her friend "hey I am Carpus, Son of Chloris, the flower goddess."

Carpus introduces himself and Irene bows to him because Irene isn't from the royal so she has to be honorific.

The whole day they play around, and have fun but one thing is off about Irene she asked about that Portal from time to time...

After a while, they bid their goodbyes and head toward their kingdom, the kingdom of darkness.

But they pass by that Portal again Irene halts her steps again. Shia turns around when she doesn't feel Irene's presence by her side

"What happened we have to go before dark, " Princess Shia said.

"Shia let's go inside that Portal" ~ Irene

"Are you out of your mind? We are forbidden to go there " Shia says in an angry tone not wanting to break the roles".

Just once don't you want to see what's there on the other side of the Portal?" Shia freezes listening to her friend's words, She also wants to visit that world she heard weird things about mortals

•••Flashback•••

"So you want to listen to why we forbid you," King said. Shia nodded her head wanting her answer to all questions

The King sighs "we forbid you because there is a prophecy that if the princess of darkness, means you, go out of the mansion and roam around

The mortals will attack us and they will kidnap you because mortals don't like to be dead They want to be immortal like us

So if they kidnap you they will demand immortality for themselves

And we have to give them immortality in return for you, then who will come to hell? Who will go to heaven they all will forget mortality" King lies to the princess not wanting to tell her the truth

He just wants to shut down those questions that Princess asks almost daily.

"Now tell me, did we do anything wron-"

"My L-lord we have to T-talk"

End of Flashback

"Please Shia we will come back before the sunset set I promise please a small visit will not hurt right?" Shia snaps out of her thoughts

"But-" ~ Shia "please" Her friend made a puppy face to convince Shia

She sighs " Okay but we have to come back before anyone knows about that " Princess is also excited to go there and see everything from her own eyes.

"Yayyyyy let's go now" They run toward the Portal all excited

Portal shines brightly when they go near it. They look at each other and nod, entering the Portal, there's nothing but darkness

Everywhere is darkness but after some time darkness slowly faded into a bright light again

And on the other side, there is a forest, and beautiful long trees, the vibe is different for the first time, Shia feels butterflies in her stomach.

"BOOO" someone holds Princess' shoulder "AGGGHHHHH" Shia screams at top of her lungs.

"Hahahahahaha you should look at your face princess, you look so funny. No one admits that you're the princess of darkness hahahaha " Irene laughed at the princess' state while Shia makes an angry pout.

"Don't you dare to talk to me ever " Shia said, crossing her arm, facing her back to her friend

"Aww sorry my lady I won't do this again I promise now let's go we don't have time " Her friend apologizes and brings her out of the forest.

They roamed around the Forest not wanting to get lost. After some time they go back to their kingdom

"It's fun, right? " Irene says, now the fear, Shia has is no more to be seen. she nods happily heading to their place now
