Up In The Tree

Aselia. One of them sat on her hand and glimmered like a twinkling light.

"Leia! They could be poisonous or might sting you," Xiran's breath was stuck in his throat, he was apprehensive seeing the glorious creatures that surrounded her.

"They would have stung me by now if they wanted. I think they are harmless," Aselia gently stroked its wings as it kept sitting on Aselia's hands and Xiran leaned closer watching them and carefully extended his hand. One of them swiftly landed on his and glowed a silvery hue. He was mesmerised.

Both of them were lost in the beauty of these marvellous creatures until a cold gust of wind blew and swept them away. This saddened Aselia, watching them fly away and she pouted.

But her pout was soon replaced as she shuddered, her teeth chattered as cold seeped deep into her skin. She wrapped her arms around herself, the goosebumps rose all over her body.
