Paths and Reasons

This is Liery village. The people of Liery Village are truly happy and content. The village is filled with people who are content with the simple pleasures life has to offer. They take great joy in spending time with their families, enjoying the beauty of nature, and cherishing the close-knit sense of community. Every day, the villagers are out and about, sharing laughs and stories, and enjoying life. It is a place where the people are truly happy, and it is contagious.

A young man wearing simple cloths was deep in thoughts, He sat in his small house, the only light coming from the flickering flame of a candle. His brow was furrowed in deep concentration as he stared at the candle's flame. He was lost in thought, contemplating the meaning of life and what it meant to be truly happy. His hands were clasped together in prayer as he thought of the people of Liery Village, content with their simple lives. He smiled as he thought of the warm sense of community and the joy of life that he had seen in the village. He knew that he had found something special in Liery Village and he was thankful for it but he knew this warmth was not here forever, a group of bandits would soon descend on the village and kill everyone. He had to act quickly and find a way to stop the bandits before it was too late. He thought of the villagers, content with their simple lives and he knew he had to do something to save them. He prayed for guidance and courage, and with a heavy heart, he set out to find a way to stop the bandits and protect the people of Liery Village. With faith in his heart and a burning desire to protect the people he had come to love, the young man began his mission to save the village from destruction.

I often think back to my childhood days in Liery Village and they are among my fondest memories. Days were spent playing in the fields, chasing butterflies, and running around with my friends. We would often take a break to stand beneath the majestic trees and marvel at the beauty of nature. The nights were filled with laughter, stories, and music. Everyone gathered around the fire to sing and dance, and we shared stories and laughter until the early hours of the morning. The people of Liery Village were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. I felt a genuine connection with everyone in the village. I could always rely on them to support me, no matter what but those days came to an end when the mountain bandits from the nearby region attack the village and killed and enslaved everyone that's when I joined the Imperial Army to protect more people but who could have thought that in just 12 more years this whole empire will be destroyed and continent will change forever. I will take this step by step and change the course of history.

This time I will make sure that the bandits never kill anyone in the village, I will make sure Tibun Empire doesn't get into a civil war so that we can be ready for the Eastern Empire's attack.

"W- Watari are you there" I called out to seemingly no one

(Yeah kid what do you want!?)

"I want to know how this bl- Blessing works?" I said

(Ha how many times do I need to explain, alright this is the last time)

You are given the gift of future sight meaning you can "see" all the possible outcomes of a decision made by someone. To see there future paths of a person you must know a little about them meaning a minimum required knowledge about the individual who's paths you want to see.

I still don't understand it completely but I think it's like those prophets we hear in the legends of the Church, anyway first thing first I need a plan to defend the village for that I need a way to meet the village chef before that I need-

"Mom! What are you doing here?"

A women with green just like Artyon:" I'm here to help you out. I heard you needed some firewood"

"Yeah...uh...thanks. That's very kind of- No, I can take care of it. You don't have to stay"

Mom: "It's ok, I don't mind"

"No, really, I'm fine. I think I can manage"

Mom: "Ok. I just wanted to help"

With a weird expression my mom left the room, I know what I did was very out of character but if she stayed in here for one more second I would have cried I needed to rest myself and get accustomed to my life as my 20 year self.

Seeing her alive after coping with the loss for more than 12 years, I can was really unable to control myself but this not the time for this.

In about a month the Bandits will attack the village and destroy everything, We won't receive any help from nearby 2 towns because they are odds with each other so, they will give as a reason saying that they have to defend themselves (that's what happened last time when the bandits attack we were not able to get refuge in the towns). Sending message to the Baron Abihail is the realistic choice but he would totally ignore a baseless warning from an idiot farm boy.

I need to get the village chief onboard with me so that he can send a message to Baron Abihail but if that happens it will take atleast 2 weeks just for the baron's army to arrive.

Ahh.. My head I have no idea what I am doing, maybe we can fight No only I have experience in fighting but even that useless with my weak body right now.

I am just a foot solider I don't really know how to plan things but I will save them I don't want to see my parents and sister die ever again!
