This is a single Fl story not a harem, I will be writing other stories as harem but not this one. This is my first novel so.. I have lot to learn.

Speed-run Civilization

He knew immediately something was wrong. "Alice, what's going on? Where's Jeni?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Alice hesitated before finally revealing the truth. "Eugie, Jeni was at the coast area when the attack happened. I'm sorry. She didn't make it."

Eugene felt like the world had just been ripped out from under him. Jeni, the young maid whom he had grown to love like a little sister, was dead. The news hit him like a ton of bricks, and he struggled to process it.

For a moment, he couldn't move, couldn't speak. He just stared at Alice with tears streaming down his face. Finally, he managed to speak, his voice cracking with emotion. "Jeni...she's gone?"

Alice nodded, her own eyes filling with tears. "I'm sorry, Eugie"
