CHAPTER 16 (Keep Going)

He was certain of it. He should just have some patience so that he can concentrate and think clearly. He wasn't there to sit around and do nothing. He was brought here for a reason, and that reason should be as valuable as his life.

He'd been walking for a few minutes and hadn't heard anyone approaching or the sound of an elevator ascending to where he was. But instead of being calm, he should be concerned about himself. If he is able to send the file into his account, it is possible that someone will open it. Yes, he can send one to the police station, but that would be pointless because he believes that even the police are siding with the WIC Company and that no one should be trusted.

He could at least send a file to his second account, regardless of whether it took days, weeks, months, or even years. What is more important is that he sends the file rather than wasting his time and energy inside the asylum.

As he walked, he came across a weak light and realized there were a lot of intersections nearby where he could hide. He wished that he could at least find something to wear.

He walks quickly because he has gained enough energy to do so. He was gasping for air at the same time, but he could now control his mind and had to calm down. If he continues to be such a wimp, he will go nowhere and will get nothing.

So now he had nothing but himself. In every case, he was used to it, used to being alone, and all he relied on when looking for a solution was his inner voice. Nonetheless, he made use of his brother's assistance, but all of that was on his own shoulders, and he is now on his own.

He took a left, and there were a lot of rooms inside. He just hopes that no one else is there, as was the case in Ibiza. But, in his opinion, and based on what he has seen, they look a lot like him and are waiting for him. He simply needs to be more cautious.

He attempted to open a door and then took out his phone and used the flashlight. He turned on the lights to see if there was anyone in the room, but there were none. It was a complete mess, as opposed to Ibiza's room, but it was empty.

He decided to walk two meters to another room because it was only two meters away from the cross path. A room that was at least a long distance away, so that if they did search for him, he would have plenty of time to devise a strategy.

Gunner believes there are at least a hundred rooms in the area where he is standing. He had no idea what building he was in. It was as if the structure was made of how many centuries had passed. It looks like old age. He can't believe they're possible because the building was only built a year ago, but the inside looks like it's been there for centuries. And, based on what he had seen on television, in newspapers, and in various magazine articles, the inside of the WIC Company was very different from where he is now. How could that have happened?

There are rooms on both his left and right sides. All he has to do is make a decision, and his mind is racing with possibilities. Why are there so many rooms, and what do they serve? And he had been taken aback by what he had been asking. Perhaps these are the rooms of those who are captives. They were kidnapped and are being held captive in each of these rooms. That is, his twin brother's room is just around the corner... somewhere, and he wishes he could find it.

He has a strong feeling he can find it. He looked through every door he passed as quickly as he could and then returned when he heard something, but there was nothing. He was alone, but it gave him goose bumps, and he had no choice but to continue. It was as if he were in a horror massacre video game.

"Keep going," he said to himself, as if he needed to be cheered up and get back on his feet.

He estimates that he is now in eighty doors, and he learned that skill from his brother, which he easily adapts. Unlike him, he had learned a lot from his brother, but there is one thing he can be proud of: he is a quick learner.

He noticed something while on his way to door number ninety. On the front door is a carved object. It was inscribed with something. When he and his brother were out and about, the carve was their logo, and it served as a reminder that they were present.

The logo was a circle with a ring on it, similar to Saturn and its beautiful rings. They were captivated by this planet, so they adopted it as their logo whenever they visited a new location, and it serves as a reminder of their visit, much like a constellation.

Saturn: Saturn, with its rings, is pretty huge and incredibly beautiful. It also has fantastic moons, such as Titan. Saturn is probably the most well-known and beautiful planet in the Solar System. Saturn's rings are far larger and more visible than those of any other planet.

His heart rate quickens as he smiles and touches the Saturn carved on the door. He was relieved that he had finally found his brother. He was correct, his brother is here.

He takes a deep breath and grips the doorknob. He uses his flashlight to see what's inside or if everything is clear. There was no one there, and unlike the other rooms he had seen, the room where his brother was assigned was neat and organized. It didn't have much, but it was clean and tidy.

He came to a halt when he heard something scratch from the direction he had turned. Maybe it was Ibiza who was looking for him now. Without a doubt, he entered and abruptly closed the door in silence, making no noise.

The room was dark, and the only light he had was from his flashlight. He took a look at his phone's battery, which was only ninety percent charged. He had not given much thought to his phone's battery draining in his daily life, but this time every one percent of his battery counted as if it were his life. His power bank might charge his phone a few times right now, and he has no idea when he will leave the place.

He took his torch to look for a socket to at least charge his power bank and came up empty-handed. But he did not give up hope; he touched every edge of the wall and was surprised to discover a small television, which gave him hope. There is a current if there is a television. There is a socket nearby, and he only needs to look for it.

Because of the moist air in the room, he was sweating again. There was no fan or anything to keep the air inside circulating, only an exhaust fan. Finally, he found a socket and hoped that it was still functional. He tried using the charger from his power bank. Gunner wanted to jump from his place as he saw his power bank was running, meaning it was charging.

Fortunately, the led on his power bank was not lit up. It was better for him because no one would notice that his power bank was charging right there. He hid in case someone came looking for him, and he knew where to go if that happened.

He lit up every corner of the room, and he couldn't believe his brother was there, or what the television was doing in the room. What does it do? He can't imagine his brother's ordeal of being kidnapped here and what they did to him. He saw everyone inside and couldn't envision his brother being one of them.

He sat on the edge of the bed, unable to comprehend how his brother had ended up there. It smelt like a rat colony. He wanted to cry, remembering all the days he had eaten meals every day and slept soundly at night, yet his brother's condition was this bad.
