CHAPTER 22 (Bleed For Him)

Gunner went numb and he couldn't feel his feet. It was like the nun in front of him was hypnotizing him not to move or else he would get what he asked for. The face of the nun was pale as white. Her lips were red as blood and those piercing eyes that she had were like she could swallow Gunner at one time. She slid out her tongue and her tongue was sliced in half and, what is more, what made Gunner's soul cringe is... the nun was a six foot tall or much more, because she was much taller than him.

Gunner grips his hand in fist and sprints a run next to her. They already know where he was hiding and now how on earth is he going back to that room? His power bank was still there charging. Also, that is the only spot where he could hide himself.

"She's alone," he uttered under his breath as he ran as fast as he could. He touched his belt bag to insure that he had his phone with him and it was still there. He couldn't get his phone out because of his running that he might fall off the phone.

First things first is, he got to get rid of the nun. He was running as fast as he could and the hallway was dark, but nevertheless he kept on running and running. He looked back and he saw the nun was just behind him smiling from teeth to teeth and staring into Gunner's eyes.

Gunner's eyes widened and averted his eyes away from the nun and screamed the hell out of his lungs. He didn't care if Ibiza or Dr. Vega are going to find him by his scream.

The hallway had no intersections, so he had no choice but to go straight. He can't feel his feet running on the floor because of his speed of running and he can almost feel his heart beating. He was sure that if he stopped in his tracks he would faint.

He hasn't eaten anything.

"Just great! Before I can have my food, a nun should be chasing me first huh," he breath as he keeps on running and found a dim light which gives him a hope.

He heard a laugh coming from the nun. It was a ridiculous laugh that would send chills all over your spine and that is what Gunner feels.

"Oh shit!" he added and took a left turn as he got into the intersection. "I don't know who to call right now," he exclaimed, and before he could get at least three meters away from where he had crossed, there was a priest.

Gunner had no choice but to halt, which almost tripped him from running. His heart keeps beating fast as Gunner knows that the nun was just behind him.

"How could I forget? If there is a nun there is always a priest," Gunner muttered, and could not believe what kind of situation he was now.

"Stay away from him!" the priest yelled, which made Gunner halt. He didn't know what was going on. He doesn't know what to do.

The nun screamed, which makes the hallway echo until it fades away slowly and that tells that the nun was not there anymore. Gunner looked at his back one more time to make sure and then he was right. The nun was not there anymore.

Gunner slowly averted his head to where the priest was and, unknown to him, the priest was just a few inches away from him. The priest was just near to him, which made him gasp for breath.

The same as the nun, the priest was pale as white and he had a book with him and he was also six feet tall. Gunner could not believe that every person that was inside this building was insane and unimaginable.

"Boy," the priest lifted his hand as he called Gunner.

Gunner looks at him and looks that the priest was somehow looks different but that doesn't mean that he was out of danger now.

"You have the right to be afraid and if you are looking for your escape I cannot help you with that. I've been here for years, walking and running, looking for an exit to escape from this horror. Even the gods can't hear us here. They cannot hear our pleas. Stay away from the small and big brothers and-," the priest was cut off from his words when he groaned in pain that almost his veins was showing off from his neck.

Gunner did not know what to say and what to do to help, but he was still afraid to do so. "Are you o-okay?" Gunner startled as he asked and was about to touch him when the priest look at him intensely which makes Gunner step back from his track.

"Go! Run!" the priest exclaimed and without a second thought Gunner sprinted a run away from the priest. The priest was kneeling on the floor while groaning in pain as he held his head and screamed at the top of his lungs.

He ran and ran and suddenly he remembered the hallway. It was in the same hallway that he had run between him and Ibiza. If that is the case, then Dr. Vega's office was just there. The nun was not there anymore, but he should not let his guard down. He shouldn't be calm at these hours and maybe that nun or Ibiza will just show up out of nowhere anytime.

He was catching his breath as he ran. "Stay away from the small and big brothers? What does that mean? Oh crap!" he uttered as he remembered what that meant. "Brothers," he added.

The hallway was getting even more familiar. His heart skips a beat as it gives him hope. It was not yet a mission accomplished for him, but he remembered what that priest had just said.

'If he was here for long years looking for an exit, does that mean I would be doing the same as him? Is there not an escape at all? Does that mean I will be here for a long time also? If I ever find my brother, will we have no chance at all? But I have entered here from the ceiling. Maybe that ceiling is still there and also has the chance if it isn't there anymore because this building is mysterious.' Gunner thought as he ran to the left he had the feeling that he was already near to where Dr. Vega's office.
