The only thing that had been keeping Leon's rampaging emotions in check was Ella. He didn't want to act like a deranged love-sick puppy in her presence.

All the while Luke was busy spewing trash and trying to buy Ella with his demeaning proposal, Leon kept tapping his feet on the floor, to stifle his anger.
