New Friends

"Hello, Mrs Treshvire," Anastasia came up close beaming at her strange luck. She had come out expecting to clear her head and plan on a new strategy on how to get Leon. What she didn't expect was to run into Ella all by herself.

"Anastasia, how are you?" Ella plastered a smile on her face.

"I'm fine. I just came out here to enjoy the waves and ocean breeze alone. I wasn't expecting to see you." Anastasia pretended to focus on the rising and crashing waves even though she was monitoring Ella from the corner of her eyes.

"What a coincidence," Ella chuckled. "I'm also here for the same purpose. It's kind of peaceful out here. You just unburden your heart to the ocean and it fills you with such serenity."

"Yeah, the ocean has a way of easing those with troubled hearts." Anastasia faked a depressed tone. "Take me for example, I've been so unhappy. I just came out here to vent my anger without anyone watching."

"Really?" Ella asked, puzzled.
