Dungeon

Nyai Kasmirah took a deep breath. For her, Sekar is just a stupid girl who is still worried about Darma, who clearly wants to sell her. "You want to see him again?"

Sekar was silent. Given what her father had done, she clearly didn't want to see him. "I just want to know Daddy's condition," said Sekar.

"Okay, come on, follow me!" Nyai Kasmirah turned around and walked away.

Sekar followed her from behind. Last night, when Nyai Kasmirah ordered her bodyguards to clean up the three murdered bodies of an unknown perpetrator, Nyai also ordered them to take Darma to the dungeon. At least Darma should be there until Sekar can enter the palace. Sekar has become one of Nyai Kasmirah's assets for now, so she doesn't want Darma to throw a tantrum like last night.

Sekar continued to follow Nyai Kasmirah's steps to the dungeon. "Nyai brought my father here?" Sekar, who was behind Nyai Kasmirah, kept walking while asking.

"Yes, I have to avoid causing more trouble until you enter the palace," replied Nyai Kasmirah.

Sekar didn't ask much more, until she came to the dungeon, which was dark and scary. The light there was only a small celupak. Two guards opened the prison door, which at that time was made of large, very strong bamboo.

"Come in!" Nyai Kasmirah pointed inside and ordered Sekar.

Despite her hesitation, Sekar stepped into the dungeon. Tracing the dark alley until he reached the end, she found Darma slumped on the ground.

Sekar held the bamboo bars with both hands. "Daddy," she called.

Darma quickly opened his closed eyes. The wound on his leg left him unable to stand. Then Darma crept closer to Sekar. Hold on to the bamboo and stand up as hard as Darma can.

Sekar thought her father would hug her or apologize to her, but he didn't. Dharma stood up. He was pulling Sekar's hair, which had been neatly arranged and beautiful, with all his might. His eyes were bloodshot and filled with anger. "You're the one who made me feel miserable like this!" Darma was furious, shouting at Sekar. His deep voice echoed throughout the dungeon.

Sekar grimaced in pain, trying to free Darma's hand from her, but couldn't. "Daddy, take this off!" Sekar begged.

Instead of taking off Sekar's hair, Darma pulled harder. The pain in his legs seemed to no longer be felt. In Darma's heart, he just wanted to torture Sekar.

"Don't call me Daddy!"

"I'm not your father!" shouted Darma again.

"What do you mean, dad?" Sekar doesn't understand; she thinks Darma is just angry with her and says things that don't make sense.

Darma had not answered Sekar's question, but Nyai Kasmirah came and kicked Darma's leg. making the man automatically let go of Sekar's hair and fall back to the ground. "You bastard!" Nyai Kasmirah cursed Darma.

Darma, who was in pain again, crawled in front of the bamboo bars, but this time he could not stand up. Darma bowed down to Nyai Kasmirah and begged. "Nyai, set me free!"

"I will give Sekar in return for Nyai. She has a high price when sold," said Darma again.

Sekar couldn't feel the tears running down her cheeks. Darma didn't change, even though he was already in prison and couldn't do anything like that. He is still mean to Sekar.

Nyai Kasmirah ignored Darma. She looked at Sekar, who was currently crying, "You see, don't you?"

"Your father doesn't care about you anymore. Why do you still want to meet this old man?" asked Nyai Kasmirah.

"She is not my daughter, Nyai. Take her as you please and set me free from here. " Darma answered Nyai Kasmirah's words.

"Shut up! "You stupid!" Nyai Kasmirah shouted at Darma, and the man did not dare to speak anymore. Then she looked at Sekar, who looked confused by what Darma had just said.

Sekar's heart was sliced; her heart was also beating very fast. Her hands clenched tightly. Sekar couldn't think of how Darma could be so cruel to her. Is it true that this man said that Sekar was not his daughter?

"Sekar, what are you going to do?" Nyai Kasmirah's question woke her from her thoughts.

"You're going out with him? I'll set him free if that's what you want. "

This time, Darma looked at Sekar. Hearing what Nyai Kasmirah said, Darma had to say something cunningly pleading with Sekar.

"Sekar, set free Daddy!"

"We can live together again, and I promise to change for the better."

This time, Sekar didn't want to believe what her father said. She had been deceived twice and had a good attitude towards Darma, but he was still cruel.

"No Nyai," said Sekar, surprising Darma.

"He said he wasn't my father. So why should I release someone who doesn't consider me his daughter? " Sekar wiped his tears and looked furiously at Darma.

"Just lock him up as you like, Nyai!" Sekar said the sentence with full emphasis and immediately walked away from there. He didn't want to see Darma anymore.

Nyai Kasmirah glanced at Sekar, who left in anger, then drew closer to the bamboo bars, and burst out laughing. "You stupid man!" she cursed.

"I already know that Sekar has a high price. That's why I locked you here. And you will also benefit me after this, "she said to Darma.

Darma raised Nyai Kasmirah. "What do you mean, Nyai?"

"I will hand you over to someone, Darma, and you will definitely be happy to meet that person," replied Nyai Kasmirah.

When she first saw Darma, Nyai Kasmirah felt that she had seen the man's face before, and overnight, she remembered where she had seen Darma. Nyai Kasmirah was happy, because this father and daughter would make a double profit for her. Nyai Kasmirah knew who she would be negotiating with this man for.

"Nyai, I don't understand." Darma prostrated, hoping for an explanation from Nyai Kasmirah.

"You don't need to know now, Darma. Because this will be a surprise for you."

"Live here for a while." Nyai Kasmirah eternal. After that, Nyai Kasmirah turned around and left, leaving Darma still screaming for help.

"Shut up, you will come out at a later time, Darma," muttered Nyai Kasmirah as she walked away and imagined the money she would get by handing Darma over to someone.

"I'll take care of you after my pretty girls."
