As long as Sekar walked out of the concubine's house, Sekar was constantly amazed by what she saw around her. During her life, Sekar never imagined how it was in the kingdom. She never imagined herself entering the most magnificent place in all the land.
"They gave me until dinner time to get ready, so I can get back to my room before that time," Sekar said to herself.
Instead of taking the time to dress up, Sekar is more interested in walking around and looking around. Passing the two gatekeepers at the concubine's house was not difficult for Sekar, maybe because she was used to running away from her father, so she easily looked for an opening to get out.
"No wonder everyone wants to come here." Sekar looked around. She had been perplexed as to why everyone wanted to visit the palace. Sekar thought this could be one of the reasons.
Sekar continued to walk around the palace. Behind the concubine's house there is a kitchen. Sekar hid several times when passing by, because some people would immediately report Sekar if they found out she was wandering around. Beside the concubine's house, there is a beautiful flower garden, a large fish pond in the middle, and also several large shady trees. Sekar also saw some wooden chairs under the big trees overlooking the pond.
"What place is this?" Sekar stepped into the garden area. The garden is well maintained and very beautiful. It was quiet there; no one was roaming around. "Very beautiful." Sekar approached the colorful flowers that grew in beautiful clusters all the way to the front of the pond.
"Why isn't anyone here?" Sekar, who was curious, continued to step inside and along the cool area.
"Wow, how lucky they are to be able to see these fish and be here every day." Sekar crouched in front of the pond, inserting her slender fingers into the clear water filled with colorful fish. Even on the mountain she frequented, Sekar couldn't see a beautiful place like this. Sekar smiled, waving at the fish that approached his fingers. "Sorry, I didn't bring you food," she said.
"Then why did you come here if you didn't feed them?" Someone's voice from behind Sekar made her blink. Sekar stood back up and turned her body to face a man standing not far from her. The man smiled at Sekar.
"I... I... just had a look." Sekar stammered. She was careless. She shouldn't have been there for long. The beauty of the place made Sekar forget that someone would surely find her wandering around like she is now if she took too long. Now what should Sekar do?
The man with a sweet smile approached Sekar slowly and watched from top to bottom with his arms crossed. "I've never seen you before," he said.
"Are you the new officer?" asked the man in front of Sekar.
It is impossible for Sekar to answer that she is from the concubine's house. What if this man complains to Gayatri and Renjani later? Sekar's history ends here. Sekar chose not to answer the question. She stepped back slowly, turned around and ran away from the man.
"Hey, wait!" The man ran after Sekar, who ran to the exit in front of them.
"Damn, he's after me!" Sekar did not expect that the handsome man who had just seen her was chasing her now. Please go! Sekar raised the sewek so she could run faster.
Sekar kept running towards the door, but it was bad luck. As soon as she got out of there, two doormen saw her. They looked directly at Sekar.
"Hey, who are you?" one of them shouted.
Sekar swallowed her saliva. What is this? Where should she run to? If Sekar goes back, Sekar will face the man earlier. But if Sekar continues to run away, these two guards will chase her. She could get into trouble on her first day at the palace.
What should I do? Sekar was shaking. Her heart was beating fast. She clenched her fists. Suddenly, her legs couldn't move. The more she was afraid, the stiffer her body became.
Two guards quickly arrived in front of Sekar. He pointed his sword at the girl's neck. "Who are you?" asked one of them.
"She must be an intruder," answered another.
Sekar closed her eyes, giving up. She prepared the sword that was around her neck right now and was about to injure her.
"Put down your swords!" A man from behind Sekar shouted at the two guards. Instantly, they lowered their swords and bowed to the man.
"She's with me," said the respected young man, then pulled Sekar next to him.
"Forgive us, Prince Ganendra, we don't know." They both prostrated themselves before Ganendra. with regret.
Sekar looked at the man next to her. "Prince?" Sekar asked slowly.
Ganendra looked closely at Sekar, then smiled. Then she looked back at the two guards. "Get up! And leave from here. I will take her with me," said Ganendra.
After the two guards left, Sekar was still looking at Ganendra with her mouth open. She was shocked and in disbelief. "So you are the prince?" Sekar asked.
Ganendra nodded. "As you heard just now."
Ganendra is Umbara's stepbrother. He was the son of the previous king's concubine. Even though his status is a prince, many people don't like him because Ganendra is always considered to be replacing Umbara's position as a king one day. even though Ganendra wasn't really interested.
"What's your name?" Ganendra asked Sekar, who was still confused looking at him.
"Sekar Ayu, Prince," said Sekar. while looking down. How could an ordinary girl like her dare to stare at a prince for so long? "I'm sorry I didn't recognize you."
"No problem. Besides, not everyone thinks I'm a prince. " Ganendra laughed and tried to joke.
"I'm sorry I was presumptuous, Prince," replied Sekar.
Ganendra doesn't want to learn about Sekar, who doesn't recognize himself as a prince. He changes the conversation. "I remember now. You must be new from the concubine's house, right? "asked Ganendra.
Sekar nodded. Despite her doubts, it was better for Sekar to be honest with Ganendra. It doesn't matter if Sekar will be punished later, because Sekar also has no other answer for lying.
"Then, does Gayatri know you are here now?" Ganendra's question made them look at each other. Hearing that name, Sekar's hair immediately stood up. Will Ganendra immediately complain to Gayatri?
