She woke up in a dark room with no idea how she got there. She doesn't remember who she is. Will she ever find out? Will she ever know what happened to her? Will the love that she finds be at the time that she is destined to be? Will she choose security, power, or neither? Or will time choose for her?

Discovery (Revisioned)

I finally feel like some of the tensions are lifted as I finish the story. We all sit quietly for a minute before Derek decides to tell his side of the story. He tells Liz about how he found me walking zombified and felt a need to pick me up. He felt drawn to me, is what he says. I didn’t know that part and I glance at him. He smiles at me sheepishly and I can’t help but smile back. He explains that he watched me sleep for about an hour before he fell asleep himself. The laughing that I heard was because he was talking to Liz about a blind date that she had the night before. 


Liz laughs when he explains his confusion of me not talking to him. He was frustrated that I wouldn't and thought that I was just shy. That is until he noticed my frustrations with it and he realized that I couldn't talk. They have ways to help people talk, here in the future, so he has never known anyone that couldn't.
