She woke up in a dark room with no idea how she got there. She doesn't remember who she is. Will she ever find out? Will she ever know what happened to her? Discovery (Revisioned)

Derek gets up to leave without a word. I try to grab a hold of his hand, despite knowing that I should let him go, but he moves too fast for me. I feel the tears rolling down my face. This is what I deserve. He, however doesn’t deserve the hurt. I start to head towards Meril, to help me finish the machine, but Derek comes back before I can get halfway across the room. He has a determined look in his eyes. 


"I need to know something. Why did you stop me?” He has tears in his eyes and my heart is breaking. “You had control of your emotions then." 


"Two reasons. One, all the teasing of my body was concluded with Joseph and I. If that makes sense to you." he nods tightly, with his jaws clenched. "Second, the position that you were in played on my guilt and I didn't want to do the same thing with you. It didn't feel right. Do you understand what I am saying?" 


He nods tightly again but this time he has a calculating look in his face. Then he walks closer.
