Double Duty

"Hahaha!" Sebastian laughed aloud, unable to withstand the amused attack. The end of his eyes was wet, indicating how hard he restrained himself even if he failed.

"Prince, don't be like this! If the king knew, my task would have increased later!" mocked Sebastian, with his hand rubbing away the remaining tears that hadn't had time to flow down.

"Don't tease me like that! You know, how long I've been silent in all the sciences of knowledge! Dad himself is isolating me, don't act like I'm an abnormality!" protested Vince irritably.

"Well, don't sulk like the Prince's little boy! You know that this assistant is joking, right? To be honest, I have a solution!"

Vince's eleven eyebrows were bright, indicating that the man was waiting for Sebastian to finish what was to be told. And so, when the personal assistant cleared his throat, Vince put his ears on well.

"So, is there such an urgent matter until the prince's assistant sees me like this?" asked Elena softly. The girl, who is now wearing a long pink dress, took a sip of tea gracefully. On the right side of the desk, there were a few books that seemed to have just finished reading.

"I won't make small talk, there is a task sent by the king to Miss Elena." Sebastian smiled slightly, seeming to soften his less friendly face at the beginning of the arrival. He thought Elena is the same kind of girl as the night workers in the places he often goes.

Where they are, will flirt with anyone, no matter even though they already have a partner. This one girl seems to have norms and rules that are quite polite. She seems to have a broad insight.

"Task?" Elena looked a little surprised. The girl who was originally sitting upright widened her eyes, seemingly incredulous at what she had just heard.

"Yes, task. The reward is three chests of gold bars, and one chest of pearls. You can get out of that embroidery house and start a new life happily and freely afterward."

Elena looked thoughtful, "Tell me, what to do?" asked Elena, as if agreeing with what the king might offer for her freedom.

"It's easy, train Prince Vince so that he can behave like a real man. In a few months, the prince will get married. And the king is worried if the prince turns out to have an abnormality."

The tone of the crown prince's assistant sounded like a grievance. His brow furrowed faintly, a sign that the man was in deep thought.

It's not just one or two reasons why he agreed to give This task to Elena. Although he was a little incredulous at first because of the girl's profession, the king had already investigated Elena's background.

This girl is the golden child of the embroidered house they rented yesterday. Elena was given an education, as well as strict manners and rules. The girl has many advantages, which other women of similar professions do not have. For this reason, the rent is expensive!

Elena didn't seem like she wanted to laugh or be amused, she looked serious thinking. Before tapping her finger on the table, sign if she has decided on an answer.

"I can do it, but if I can get two extra conditions," Elena said. That beautiful face that used to look charming showed one other side, in negotiating.

"Say!"

Elena raised one index finger in the air, "One, I don't want to be stalked by bodyguards anymore. Because I don't like to be disturbed when I'm enjoying my own time. And the second one permits me to enter the palace library room. Because the prince likes to shut himself in there at night."

Sebastian looked thoughtful as if weighing the good and bad conditions Elena put forward. It sounded very ordinary, and it seemed that it didn't have a strange purpose. But, Sebastian was still suspicious. Why library? While the girl can increase the amount of pay she later receives?

Glancing at the girl's pair of emerald green eyeballs, Sebastian found a kink and firmness there. Something that is rarely possessed by women who work by opening their legs.

Usually, Sebastian always finds a spotlight full of ambition and mischievousness. Because this is not the first time he has negotiated.

After thinking for a long time, "Well, two conditions from you can be granted by me. But, as a warning, if Miss fails, then a head-cutting is the punishment. You understand?"

Elena nodded, with a smile that was still sweetly squeezed on her lips.

"Of course, it is a consequence of the task I am carrying out. After all, isn't it also a stipulation of knowing the secrets of the royal family?"

After Sebastian left, Elena hadn't moved from her seat yet. The bodyguard who had previously accompanied has been pulled back. Signifies if the task has started.

"Double duty, huh?" she whispered to the sky. Looking up to feel the wind, caressing softly the strands of her hair that were not arranged in a low bun. Elena enjoyed the moments in which she could breathe and breathe the air she had always wanted.

"I'll be free soon, dad, mom! The grudges and nightmares I endured, will soon disappear. And you can rest in peace."

The shadow of her terrible childhood again ambushed her in the scorching daylight. The soothing aroma of herbal tea brewed in front of her can no longer have a positive influence. There was only blood and swords, as well as screams and even flames.

"You guys said, I have to fight, right? I should be happy, and I'm on my way to that happiness!" she whispered again. As if talking to the late mother who loved her so much.

"For my brother who even left one month before the engagement, look at your sister now! She is grasping a big mission, which you used to laugh at! It's as if this sister of yours can't do anything without you."

A drop of tears came down her cheek, "In fact, now this poor sister of yours is walking to avenge that hard-fought and no-fight death of yours, Michelle!"
