Aesther could not move.
A chilling gush of wind brushed past them, making his long hair slightly sway. She slowly exhaled. T
There were no thoughts in her mind.
But before she could even begin to think, he pushed her from the balcony.
Her breath caught up in her throat, and a raw rush of cold fear suffocated the scream that crawled up. The black cloak drifted away, and the winds cut sharp as she fell.
Aesther's vision shifted, and before it completely changed, she saw him quietly watching her.
He did not move.
And then the waters plunged her into their dark depths. She was dizzy, her mind deathly quiet and for a moment, the world disappeared.
She was once again in those dark woods, trembling and crying as that man strangled her.
It took some painful moments for Aesther to return back. She swam above the hot waters, softly gasping before taking a deep mouthful of air.
