All across the streets of Nesmeria, preparations for the new year were being made.
There was lively air as the old things were painted anew, large banners and ribbons for the celebration were carried through the streets, and flowers and lanterns were being hung.
In New Year, the celebration would start a month before the actual night. Things were all the more special this time because the Lunar Ecplipse fell on the same night as New Year.
Though the lunar eclipse weakened both the dragons and wolves, the small hour of Red Moon was said to be auspicious.
But the fall of Dragonstone peak had dimmed the air with a subtle dread.
Even though Alkazar had made it clear that the suspects were all captured, the events in the mountains were far too horrifying.
"I wonder if the luna would make appearances this time," the baker lady mused as she cleaned her shop.
Her daughter carried a tray of freshly baked loaves and smiled sadly.
