"I see," Aesther thought for a moment before shaking her head and deciding it was not important. She was still a little weak from the effects of the cursed sword and thus, the two of them did not speak much.
But sometimes, Aesther couldn't help but glance at Kaz.
Aesther couldn't help but feel a strange sensation whenever her gaze lingered on him. It felt like there was something very important she needed to remember, something that he could know... or perhaps the dreams were making her paranoid.
"You don't seem well," Ezrahl suddenly said, catching her off guard.
Aesther glanced back at him, surprise partially written upon her face. "I am," she replied softly and looked away.
She had been dreaming of the cave of oracles too often and it unsettled her. But Aesther was determined not to let those dreams affect her life until she could understand what they meant.
