Ezrahl placed a hand over her shoulder.

"We need to leave."

Aesther took a shaky breath and nodded, but she did not react right away. Her thoughts mixed and muddled between everything that had been happening since a while.

"Merakh," Aesther whispered taking a few steps back as she decided to leave, "They are in Lunar Valleys."

Ezrahl did not say anything. They did not even know how to break from an illusion constructed by someone as powerful as the first maiden. But they first needed to leave the place and get as far away as possible.

If those mysterious men were behind all this, only heaven knew how easily things can take a turn for worse. As they jumped down from the balcony, a few eyes turned their way but no one could say anything.
