City of weirdness 4

I took a bucket and went to the back deck, I saw a young man here, probably him. I went to him to ask but when he got close he turned to me and said "get away from me, I'm cursed, no one can save me, ever since I saw that monster I've been going crazy , maybe it's punishment for seeing the monster's identity, if you're going to ask me more, don't expect it, you should stay away from that thing." Without saying another word, he continued his work. I turned to look at him as I left, when suddenly he turned to look at me and mumbled something I couldn't hear. I wonder what that monster is? Is it the sea monster from before? but according to his description, it doesn't look like a sea monster I've ever seen, it seems much bigger. Maybe this is reality when everything is so real, but what the hell is that? does it exist? Did the guy just now really see it? Or just fantasizing out of fear? I ignore that and help everyone on the boat with an old bucket.

"Hey, do you see this weird thing happening? The sea level seems to be going down, I asked many people around but they all said no, do you feel the sea level is gradually decreasing?", "No", I replied back unconsciously. The man spoke again "Look to the sea and seek the truth, the truth that you are questioning here is right in front of your eyes, open your eyes and look....." I started to wake up and wonder why did I close my eyes? I'm helping the people on the boat, aren't I? Who is the man who says strange things? What is the truth of the sea? As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw myself lying on the bed of the inn, everything was just a dream, but it was very real, does this place have anything to do with that dream? Or is it just a normal human dream? I woke up again with vague thoughts about that dream. it's only 2 a.m and it's still raining heavily, it looks like there's a storm here. I felt hungry, so I went down to the inn to get something to eat, the cashier was still awake and sat at the counter, I went to the counter to ask what to eat when I overheard his conversation with someone. Because I wasn't close enough, I could only hear the cashier talking and what the other person said, I don't know.

"Hey, wake up quickly, the boat is broken! Hurry up and cover the hole with wood! What are you doing? Help people, don't just stand there! humanoid monster, but has an octopus-like head with a face resembling a mass of feathers, a body resembling rubber scales, peculiar claws on its hind and front legs, and long, narrow wings on the side." Before he could finish his sentence, he turned to look at me....
