You can say that I'm a bit of a crazy woman, and I wouldn't blame you. I wished for nothing more than to kill Aliya over and over. I felt disappointed to see her dead body but a weight was no doubt taken off my shoulders. The doctor kept his word, he returned me to my island in the same blinding light from before. 

Micah gave a whine once we were on the curved areas of the beach. Atticus promised to visit me tomorrow to begin the test and that was fine by me. He said he needed to check my blood pressure, as having a child under the conditions I've been through can prove to be unhealthy. I already knew that but hearing it from Atticus made me worry more.
