Excited

~Alexandria~

I could hardly contain my excitement as I paced back and forth in the living room. The clock on the wall seemed to tick agonizingly slow, mocking my impatience. My heart raced with anticipation, and a wide grin adorned my face. I glanced at the front door repeatedly, hoping to catch a glimpse of my father's arrival, but he was still not home.

Oh, how I wished he would walk through that door right at this moment! I had the most amazing news to share with him, and it was eating me up from the inside. I had rehearsed the conversation countless times in my head, but now, in the solitude of the room, I couldn't help but let my excitement spill over.

I started talking to myself, my words bouncing off the walls as if I had an eager audience. "Dad is going to be so proud! He won't believe what I'm about to tell him. I can already see the smile on his face and the glimmer of pride in his eyes. He's going to be ecstatic!"
