One situation after another!

Micheal's POV :1

I hurried as fast as possible to find that key in the piled bodies. But everything was blurry, all I could think of was my mate. Julie and I haven't had the time to be alone, but neither has Lee with Lia. We've all been together, to supervise and make sure of safety. At least that was the plan but the girls wanted to be free so here we are.

I turn over the last body and find the key laying there on the ground. "Lee we're getting our girls back!" I sprinted to the door and turned the key, only to hear screaming like no other coming from the floor below. It was Lia's cries for help. . .as she called for her mate to save her from the unbearable pain.

Looking over all I saw was Lee's wolf, he had transformed without thought. Galloping recklessly to Lia, the person holding chains became lifeless within seconds. I had never known Lee to be so ruthless and cold-hearted. And then I myself would soon be in the same position after seeing my mate tied to a chair, bloody and soaking wet.

Lia's POV :3

I sighed in relief, I knew my mate would come for me. He was my childhood best friend, mate, lover, and now protector. Nothing brought me more peace than watching as he finished off everyone standing, he immediately came to my aid after ripping them apart. He transformed, "My luv. I-I have failed you," hitting his knees against the cold pavement.

His body melted into my lap as he wept, "I couldn't protect you." I just kissed his head, weak and barely alert. "You're here that's all that matters," after that, I don't remember what happened. I only waited for a response before my vision went black.

Micheal's POV :1

"LIA! LIA!" I look over to hear Lee scream. While I hold Julie in my arms, wet, dry, soulless. Nothing would keep me from holding her. "Calm yourself, Lee, I'm sure she's just exhausted. From-"

"Don't finish that sentence!" he said. And seemed pissed. "I wasn't going to Lee, calm yo ass down. We're in the same position don't take your frustration out on me! This isn't easy for me either,"

"Your right, I apologize Micheal. I just- finally got her back. This is overwhelming,"

"Trust me I understand, for a moment I thought I would never have a mate, and then here comes Lia's bestfriend. But aye, we need to go just in case backup was called,"

"True, I'm not tryna deal with all that. Love you bro bro."

"Love you too Lee."

Julie's POV '-'

I rolled over to be in the arms of my mate, "GURRRL" my wolf screamed in the mind link," Lah shut up!" I said as if Micheal could really hear her, I forget how this whole wolf thing works sometimes. "But you right, I've never seen him with a shirt off 0-0. . .I meannn it is mine so I can feel all I want,"

"I-I'm just gonna go," Lah said before leaving the mind link empty for only me and my freaky thoughts. My hands traveled from his neck down to his chest and from there under the covers to "Julie wait till you're strong enough to take it before you go ahead teasing me."

"I-I um Mi-" I was so dang on embarrassed, not sure of what to do I just turned around to face the window. But the sun blinded me and I rose in bed. "Ow," I giggled. "Here cmon I know you're thinking about Lia." I smiled, he knows me so well already.

He got ready to walk out the door, "AYE PUT A SHIRT ON! Nobody gets that kind of view but me .,."

"Alright Alright chill," he laughed at my nonsense.

Lia's POV :3

"Mmh mh" I moaned in pain "everything hurts Lee" I knew he was there, I could feel his presence. He sat at the end of the bed I assume to give me space but honestly, I just wanted him smothering me. "Cmere please. . .I've had enough space,"

"Uh, are you sure?" he asked hesitantly. I've never been more sure of anything, if you were going to hurt me I wouldn't have you in the room at all Lee. "Now cmere." Before he could make his way into the bed the door creaked open and I heard loud thoughts. I just knew it was Julie."

"Oh bestfriend, I cried at the sight of her bruised appearance and she cried at the sight of me too." This was some experience, but for sure made our friendship stronger. I still feel guilty as if it was my fault if I wasn't so stubborn- "Don't think like that Lia, it's not your fault. We both made the choice to go out there."

I wasn't speaking out loud but I guess she read my facial expressions. She jumped in bed with me and we held each other for what felt like ages. The boys just spoke on the low in the corner of the room. I guess something was going on that we weren't being told.

"Alright best I just wanted to check on you, I'll leave you two alone now," I smiled at her, "thank you, I appreciate you and everything you do for me." I gave Micheal a hug and my blessing so he knew I supported them as a couple forever.

I slowly got up from bed, aching in pain but Lee was acting strange and that's something I needed to handle. "Baby. . ." I walked over and sat on his lap. "Talk to me, please. I can tell something is wrong but you won't say."

He leaned into my chest as I curled into his. "It's just I'm scared to know of my strength Lia. And I don't want to hurt you. So, that's why I haven't been touching you really."

"Oh my Luv," I laughed unintentionally. "You could never hurt me, Lee you were simply angered and reacted to save me." I held his hands in mine. "There was never a worry in my mind that you would hurt me." He didn't respond but only wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Now, what else is there you aren't saying? I was eavesdropping on you and Micheal's conversation, is there something I need to know?" He looked pissed once I brought it up. "Nothing I wish to concern you with at the moment, just worry about your current state, baby girl."

"What you must know should be handled by me and Micheal right now. I don't need you doing anything irrational. But from the looks of it, our parents won't take 2 couples from enemy tribes lightly. . ."
